Maryland Institute of Technology and Management, Galudih Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

There are separate MITM Galudih hostels for boys (on the campus). A serene atmosphere with utmost care and security is provided for students on the campus along with an excellent mess facility, water purifier, playground, and 24 hours electricity supply, which provides a home environment along with delicious food comparable to homemade food.

A serene atmosphere with utmost care and security is provided for students on the campus along with an excellent mess facility, water purifier, playground, and 24 hours electricity supply, which provides a home environment along with delicious food comparable to homemade food. The kitchen and water are carefully supervised for cleanliness and hygiene.

The medical facility has been provided with qualified doctors, an around-the-clock ambulance, and tie-up with nearby hospitals in an emergency.

The Central Library of the college is equipped with over 10000 volumes of technical books and 45 journals (National & International). The library plays a vital role in acquiring, organising, and disseminating knowledge. It has put in place policies and procedures, systems, and services, and ambiance that facilitate knowledge required for understanding and strengthening of subjects in Engineering. 

MITM Galudih sports facilities are available for all within the campus. MITM Galudih sports facilities help students to participate in physical activities and be mentally and physically healthy.

The Campus has excellent computing facilities with 300 LCD-based 18.5” TFT Monitors and 500GB HDD & 2 Duo Processor with high-speed computing and all of them with Wi-Fi-network connectivity is supported with licensed operating systems, applications software, and printers.

The college has Canteens with the capacity to seat 100 students at a time and is equipped with Refrigerators, Bottle coolers, and Water coolers to facilitate guests and students.

Fully-fledged transport facilities are provided for Staff and Students from Jamshedpur, Ghatshila, and Galudih to the Institute Campus.

The college provides a complete Wi-Fi Facility throughout the campus that enables users to access the central server remotely for shared data or for the internet from any location within the range of campus.

It is the place where budding engineers understand the conversion process of raw material into finished products and MITM ensures that students receive hands-on experience with the manufacturing process. 

The Academic block of MITM has numerous classrooms with a capacity to accommodate 60 nos. of students in each class. Drawing halls can accommodate 100 nos. of students. The classroom has modern facilities like multi-equipped lecture theatres with the latest teaching aids like LCD projectors, Overhead projectors, and Smartboards to make learning exciting.

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.

The workshop comprises of Foundry shop, a Carpentry shop, a Welding shop, Blacksmithy, Sheet metal working shop, Lathes, Milling Machines, Shaper, Power hacksaw, Drilling machines, etc. The workshop team actively participates in projects, new ideas, and innovations to aid the students and staff of all departments to see their thoughts come to reality.
