Hey,
Yes you can apply for 2nd year directly after completion of diploma in any technical or engineering field. APCHE conducts a test (AP ECET) every year for lateral entry into various courses. The test is conducted to give admissions into 2nd year of B.Tech, B.E and B.Pharmacy programmes for Diploma holders of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and B.Sc Graduates. Candidate have to score minimum 25% of total score to qualify the entrance exam(50 out of 200 marks). The examination will be in May 2020.
To be eligible for examination, you must have passed diploma with minimum 45% score or equivalent CGPA.
