SRM Institute of Hotel Management offers a range of facilities to enable students to learn in a good environment. These facilities include a library stocked with various materials pertaining to hotel management, a well-equipped smart classroom and a computer laboratory. These facilities act as learning aids for the students of SRM IHM and enhance their learning. Candidates also have access to labs such as the laundry lab which helps students learn the practical aspects of hotel management. At SRM IHM, students are also provided accommodation in the form of hostels and a gymnasium with sports facilities for the wellness of students.

Boys Hostel
The college has 14 blocks allotted for Men of capacity varying from 200 to 1000 students in each block. The total capacity for Men’s hostel is about 7500.
Girls Hostel
The college has 7 blocks allotted for Women students of capacity varying from 250 to 700 in each block. The total capacity for the Women’s hostel is about 4000.
Medical/Hospital
The College Students of SRM have access to medical facilities at various places, apart from a 24-hour dispensary that has been set up on campus with a doctor on call. The SRM Hospital at West Mambalam has facilities for several diagnostic procedures such as ECG, X-Ray, and laboratory investigation.
Health insurance cover for all students is one of the additional services under active consideration.
Library
The college has a library equipped with books, journals, newspapers, and magazines that are fully open to students, as well as case studies for studying the career of Hotel Management in real-world situations.

Students can also acquire practical experience in hardware technology as quite a number of computers are assembled internally at the college workshop.
