Arts Club

The College has Arts Club enables our students to get inspired and actively learn and develop their talent and skills through artistic expression. Art Club is open to any student interested in the visual arts. The study of art can be an outlet and can provide quite a few significant benefits to our students. Art can relieve stress, which can be a new and intense emotion for the students. Once ensconced in the art club, students may need to brainstorm new activities to stoke their creative fires. With limited time in the classroom, the art club can serve as a nice supplement for those students who can’t get enough art. Arts clubs provide the opportunity and freedom to try new things with students. Students have unique ideas and powerful imaginations and need the space to work through their artistic expression on their own terms, without any objectives and boundaries. 

Bhoo Mithra Sena Club

Addressing environmental issues is a multidisciplinary task and for its objective accomplishment, a strong action on awareness building is essential. If taken up at the cutting edge levels, it helps in changing the attitude of the society. To attain this objective, it is appropriate to utilize the enormous manpower available with the students as they form the most important community having influence both in the family and in the society. To strengthen the environmental commitment of students at the college level in the State, the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change (DoECC) has launched the ‘Bhoo Mithra Sena’ program. Through this program, it is intended to establish Bhoo Mithra Sena Clubs (BMCs) in all districts through the colleges of the State. The major objectives of the cell are to encourage the students to appreciate the environment and environmental issues of the locality, to provide environmental education opportunities for students and involve them in addressing environmental issues of the locality, to utilize the enormous manpower available with students as conduits for awareness of the society, to make students practice and advocate sustainable lifestyles and to improve the overall environmental quality of the institution.
