The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The College Library serves as a central facility of the Institute to support the study, teaching, research and development programmes of the Institute since 2001. The library was established with only 300 volumes but is now a collection of more than 13000 volumes which includes Text Books, Reference Books etc. The Library’s collection comprises hybrid resources (Print and electronic) in the fields of science and technology and engineering. In the recent, the Library has extended resources with the help of BIT main centre and has a separate Internet section consisting of a number of networked terminals for providing recent and comprehensive access to online journals, online databases, nearly 1,47000 ebooks and other online reference resources to the faculty, students and staff under Intranet and Internet environment. Library operations have been automated with the help of an online source-integrated library software package, KOHA. The book database is accessible through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). Circulation Services are executed through the Barcode System. The library has a well-equipped Xerox facility.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Ground for Track & Field events Cricket and football grounds Basket Ball, Volleyball, and badminton courts

The college has a dispensary with basic facilities and medical staff. University Polytechnic staff and students can also avail facilities of the health center facilities of BIT Dispensary. The BIT Dispensary is 20 bedded including 8 bedded two isolation wards fully functional Health Care Centre providing facilities to BIT Students, Faculties, their families and staff members & their families plus Villagers around the Campus. The Dispensary is functioning in all three 3 shifts (Round the clock 24x7) including Sundays and holidays attending all OPD and IPD & Emergency Cases. Presently it is manned by 5 Allopath & 1 Homeopath Doctor put in shift/General shift and about 20 paramedical staff. We have also a Dentist, Physiotherapist, Eye, Skin, and gynecologist as visiting specialists every week for health care services. The workforce, as per the need and workload is quite insufficient and we are in the process of appointing and adding up a few more Doctors and paramedics to give our services in a better way. The dispensary is functioning essentially as a primary health center and patients who need specialized treatment or hospitalization are referred to multi-specialty hospitals. All students and staff members & their two dependent children are covered under the Mediclaim policy by Oriental General Insurance Company. The Health Centre is equipped with 4 Ambulances, available in all the 3 shifts fitted with Oxygen Cylinders & first aid kits.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
