Nice college
Very Nice and Elegant Infrastructure, looks more like a mall than normal boring building structure colleges. Vidyalankar Institute of Technology has various Cafeteria's and Canteens for lunchs, breakfast and snacks. VIT also have DEN where one can enjoy games like 8 ball pool, Air hockey, Tabel Tennis, chess, Carrom, also Computer games like CSGO, mortal kombat and also we have 2 PS4. There are multiple separate grounds for Cricket, football and batminton, Volleyball, basketball.
I am currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, All the staff/faculty are very knowledgeable and very friendly. Also they clear every doubt multiple times whenever required, college doesn't have any staff that would scold any student for not asking doubt again and again, the relation is more frank tha any other colleges.
There have been very good placement rate about VIT in past also currently the placement are good. About 90-95% of students gets placed and the highest package untill now is 37 Lakhs, The average salary offered is between 5L to 6L and yes the placement cell is also too supportive to students.
The cost for Bachelor degree is around 1.85L and is less for caste like 85k for OBC and free for SC and ST caste. The fees is worth money when it comes to education.
Campus is very wholesome and amazing, multiple Canteens are present, even Nescafe's Cafe is there for coffees and other stuffs, A variety of food is available for all types of eating like for lunch, breakfast, etc. Student and teacher relation are very friendly and good , they help the students effortlessly and guide them to their best paths. Yes college is totally safe and also can handle emergencies.
Looks like a mall. With amazing amenities, a canteen, state of the art auditorium, and libraries with a wide array of books ranging from academic journals to guides and textbooks. Time well spent by students and the learning experience is enhanced.
Experienced teachers with interactive teaching methods. Techniques for engaging the students to answer questions and prompt them to answer accordingly foster an active and learning environment. This was amazing.
Amazing placement scenarios with companies visiting across the domains and from around the country. This ensures a good percentage of students getting placed and kickstarting their corporate journey right off the college.
The cost is as per industry standards, comparing the amenities against the cost. The students enjoy a tremendous value for money wherein the amenities and placement justifies the fees paid by the students.
Amazing campus life. State-of-life amenities with canteen, library, clubhouse, and playground for an all-round progress of the students. The infrastructure is the best feature and the peers as well as teachers are amazing.
I would definitely suggest this college to the students who are pursuing undergraduate. It would be a wonderful experience and rewarding for lifelong. The placement scenarios are amazing and that acts as the icing on the cake.

2. Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute

Hello,
With a JEE Main rank of 83,472, getting into VIT Mumbai in CAP Round 2 under the OMS (All India) category is not possible. In recent years, the cutoff for branches like Computer Engineering in CAP Round 2 was around 4,500 to 5,000. Since your rank is much lower, chances are almost negligible.
Hope it helps !
In JEE Mains 2024, the closing rank for the Computer Engineering branch at VIT Mumbai for the General category (All India quota) was around 99,339. For the EWS category, the cut-off is usually a bit relaxed, so you might get in with a slightly higher rank. Exact EWS cut-off isn't officially mentioned, but if your rank is close to or below 1 lakh, you have a fair chance. Keep checking the official counselling updates for confirmation.
