VIT is well established college with great infrastructure. VIT provides a big campus with sports field, canteen. VIT has proper facilities for everything. They also provide inside game room, Stationery shop and Xerox center.
VIT provides smart classroom, laboratories, library. They have very knowledgeable, experienced faculties. They are very helpful, understanding and well communicable. They also provide online resources for study like Vrefer, Vlive.
Placements are also very good. Every year student gets placement in renowned and well reputed companies. They also provide better internships for better future and experience. VIT provides us training for placements.
The infrastructure is amazing and it's well maintained. The college has many facilities for the students and the staff. The are new equipments in the laboratories and the demonstration of them is shown. Smart board is mostly preferred by the teachers. The campus is clean and hygienic.
Quality of teaching is good. The teachers helps the students to get the concept well, they solve numerous examples and also gives clarity about the topic in detail. It is benefiting students to gain knowledge and also making them job-ready.
There are a number of companies who gives placement opportunities to the students as the college claims. I have no idea about the number and all. The average salary should be 3-4 lakhs per annum. The college helps students in this situation.
It costs around 1.4 lakhs rupees per year. It is very huge amount of money and needs to be reduced. So roughly it costs 6 lakhs for the course which is a big amount . The cost of it should be reduced as it is too high.
Campus is clean and hygienic. There are many activities the college arranges for it's students . The support staff and teachers are helpful and are polite. The location is a concern. It takes much time to reach college . I think it can handle emergency situations.
It is a great experience here. The teachers and staff are helpful. The technology is also advanced. The campus and infrastructure are well maintained. We hope the college will improve more and keeps on guiding students to their dreams.
Yes, our college have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have the facilities like wifi, matlab and smartboards which are well maintained.Yes, the living spaces and food is hygienic.
B.E. in electronics because I am interested in learning it.The quality of teaching is good.Yes, the curriculum is updated but can enhance more in recent developments in this field. Studies not fully makes you job ready.
Average quality of placements since I am in second year so I don't have lot more information about salary packages offered. But from electronics department there are less students placed as compared to IT.Yes, our college is supportive.
Around 1 lakh which is satisfactory because in nowadays education is turning into a business were people waste their money on donations.
Our campus is best. They can be engaged in sports, studies and other activities. Yes the location is safe.
Overall Nice College.
The college building is well maintained. All the classrooms are well maintained and clean with projectors installed to help the faculty. There are two canteens and two Cafe coffee Day (CCD) outlets within the campus for refreshments. There is an auditorium with an accommodation capacity of about 300 persons. There is also a dedicated area for gaming purposes. The labs for all the courses are also well maintained and well equipped with latest equipments.
VIT is considered one of the better colleges in Mumbai for engineering courses. The faculty is highly experienced and very helpful regarding academics. The college has a library with hundreds of reference books and guides. Each department has very accommodating staff.
As I am currently in the third year of my engineering degree, I do not have any first-hand experience with the placement facility. However, from the past results it can be said that the placement cell has been very successful in attracting companies and helping get students placed in their desired companies with the best possible packages.
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology has an astonishing modern infrastructure. The college foyer, laboratories, classroom, auditorium, and all other rooms are perfectly clean and well ordered. The college has two main canteens, it also has a Dominos booth and two CCD for quick refreshments between small breaks. The college also has a dedicated gaming complex and some decent ground for sports activities. The college library is also good and is a source of great content for your subject.
The Academics in this college is pretty good. The majority of the faculties are well experienced and have a great deal of knowledge about their subjects. The faculties have a lot of industry knowledge and it can help you to be job-ready when you complete your education. They focus and think from the student's point of view, trying to make learning and developing new things much easier for the students.
I have not experienced any placement program yet, but I think the quality of placement is decent. Almost 70% percent of the students get placed around various companies like TCS, Infosys, Reliance, etc. The average salary package offered by companies ranges between 4-4.5 Lakhs per annum.
Looking at the Academics, Infrastructure, and all the facilities, I think its a good value for your money.
Life inside the college is quite satisfactory, good transport facilities are available right outside the college. The location is a big negative for the college, its surrounded by cramped quarters and squalor which generally give rise to prejudice for the college to new aspirants.
Yes all the classes in my college are air conditioned and has library, playing area : carrom , table tennis, chess etc. College is wifi enabled and classrooms have projector for smart studies. Yes college is clean.
I'm studying Information Technology as I'm interested in computer and technology. Teaching faculty is great including the non teaching staff. Yes my college introduces me with the new technologies available.
My college is not great when it comes to placement but it's preety well . According to my known information last year 88% of students were placed my mass recruiting companies. I don't know how much salary was offered.
It's 1.8 Lakhs and according to me it's a little bit higher but it's worth it .
Yes
Yes the college has quite a good infrastructure, it's looks like a mall from the inside although work can still be done. The food quality is good, although it's a bit costly. Classes are clean too, the tables could be more modern!
I am in the electronics engineering department, it really is an interesting subject and very usefull in today's world. The teachers are quite well oriented with not only their own subjects but other subjects too.
I am still in the 2nd year, I don't know much about the placements. I had heard form the teachers that they have a good placement percentage and the range is quite good too. The average was but obvious between 2-3lacs PA.
well maintained infrastructure.food is hygienic.the libraries and reading area is well maintained. sports block is Excellent with gaming area also.labs are good. classrooms are nice.wifi is given for education purpose.
the quality of teaching here is good. Notes given are useful.Teaching faculties are good.lab faculties are excellent. better use of technology for studies are implemented here. the quality of teaching is good.
college is supportive for good placements. Most of the students with 8 to 10 pointers are placed with good companies. the college will support u for interview training and development of skills required for better performance.
yes I m getting my money worth.
college campus is the best lots of fun activities, learning activities.
Infrastructure of the college is awesome. It feels like mall. Every classrooms and labs have ACs, green board and projectors. All laboratories are well equipped. There's a separate block for icalled 'S' block for indoor games like PS, poll, fooseball, chess, table tennis, etc. For outdoor games ground are there. Everything is well maintained. Library has varieties of books and keeps many copies of it. canteen food is also good no non-veg food. Hygiene is maintained all the time.
I am a student of Computer Engineering. Here the quality of teaching is quite good. All the professors are very supportive. The curriculum is updated but still i would there's many stuff which is used in technical jobs but not a part of curriculum.
I don't know much about the placements as I haven't myself experience that. But looking at past placements records, majority of students gets placed in good companies. Companies like JIO, TCS, Infosys and many more visits our college. College puts efforts to help students during recuritment process.
Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth. Well there's good teaching staff, Vidyalankar notes are provided for each course, guest lectures, seminar and workshops are organised. Being a technical event head, my committee organised many technical events like Google study jam, Firebase, blockchain events.
Campus life is awesome. Students can engage in lot many activities. We have got a varieties of committees where students can join as per their interest. We have technical committees like IEEE,CESA,CSI,ACM and many more. There's student council and committes for dance, sports, hobbies, etc. Every committee and council are ran by students under the guidance of professors which are assigned for each committee. Location is safe.
Overall college life in VIT is awesome.
Library is good and has good infrastructure. Also it is a good college and had good. Also accessible with regular travel arrangements. Canteen is good for necessary use. I will recommend it to sincere students.
Teaching staff is good. Also lectures are regular . No free lectures. Lacks in syllabus sometimes. And also study material is not good enough. Class notes compensate if you are sincere enough to note them down.
Placement are average and also not disappointing. They aren't as good as they are supposed to be. But still the college has a good placement rating and also the placement officers work for the students.
College isn't actually value for money. The campus is very compact and also doesn't have much amenities when it comes to extra curricular activities. Canteen is just average. Also the non teaching staff is just fine.
Campus life isn't as good as it should be. College has a very small campus. Not much enjoyable places to be. The library is good to hangout. But rest assured overall fine campus. No sports courts. Just a gaming block
The college overall above average and has a good student life. I would definitely recommend the college to students to get a good college life and cultivation. This college has many chances to prove and draw out your real potential.
In JEE Mains 2024, the closing rank for the Computer Engineering branch at VIT Mumbai for the General category (All India quota) was around 99,339. For the EWS category, the cut-off is usually a bit relaxed, so you might get in with a slightly higher rank. Exact EWS cut-off isn't officially mentioned, but if your rank is close to or below 1 lakh, you have a fair chance. Keep checking the official counselling updates for confirmation.
