college campus is the best lots of fun activities, learning activities.
Infrastructure of the college is awesome. It feels like mall. Every classrooms and labs have ACs, green board and projectors. All laboratories are well equipped. There's a separate block for icalled 'S' block for indoor games like PS, poll, fooseball, chess, table tennis, etc. For outdoor games ground are there. Everything is well maintained. Library has varieties of books and keeps many copies of it. canteen food is also good no non-veg food. Hygiene is maintained all the time.
I am a student of Computer Engineering. Here the quality of teaching is quite good. All the professors are very supportive. The curriculum is updated but still i would there's many stuff which is used in technical jobs but not a part of curriculum.
I don't know much about the placements as I haven't myself experience that. But looking at past placements records, majority of students gets placed in good companies. Companies like JIO, TCS, Infosys and many more visits our college. College puts efforts to help students during recuritment process.
Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth. Well there's good teaching staff, Vidyalankar notes are provided for each course, guest lectures, seminar and workshops are organised. Being a technical event head, my committee organised many technical events like Google study jam, Firebase, blockchain events.
Campus life is awesome. Students can engage in lot many activities. We have got a varieties of committees where students can join as per their interest. We have technical committees like IEEE,CESA,CSI,ACM and many more. There's student council and committes for dance, sports, hobbies, etc. Every committee and council are ran by students under the guidance of professors which are assigned for each committee. Location is safe.
Overall college life in VIT is awesome.
Library is good and has good infrastructure. Also it is a good college and had good. Also accessible with regular travel arrangements. Canteen is good for necessary use. I will recommend it to sincere students.
Teaching staff is good. Also lectures are regular . No free lectures. Lacks in syllabus sometimes. And also study material is not good enough. Class notes compensate if you are sincere enough to note them down.
Placement are average and also not disappointing. They aren't as good as they are supposed to be. But still the college has a good placement rating and also the placement officers work for the students.
College isn't actually value for money. The campus is very compact and also doesn't have much amenities when it comes to extra curricular activities. Canteen is just average. Also the non teaching staff is just fine.
Campus life isn't as good as it should be. College has a very small campus. Not much enjoyable places to be. The library is good to hangout. But rest assured overall fine campus. No sports courts. Just a gaming block
The college overall above average and has a good student life. I would definitely recommend the college to students to get a good college life and cultivation. This college has many chances to prove and draw out your real potential.
excellent infrastructure, live lecture capture and air conditioned classrooms.the food is pure vegetarian and very hygienic yes everything is provided except for the hostel but plenty of pg's and rent rooms available
the etrx branch makes us versatile for each and every type of job . the quality of the teaching is excellent and professors not only guide through the academic part of the subjects as well as the practical application of them
still in 3rd year . but the placements are as good as any mumbai university college the jobs out there are scarce only the best of the students are getting good jobs through placements and the college is hell bent on making the students good
professors are good and helpful almost everything provided for immersive and all round learning . we also have project division which helps students with guidance for various projects also we have karaoke :D
vidyalankar also excels in extra curricular activities like sports and arts . All kinds of hobbies are encouraged here and the staff is the most helpful you can find will stand by the students and help them in all ways possible
amazing college
My college is the very good at keeping the living spaces clean and it does provide all the facilities that we need.Libraries do have all kinds of books required by the students.Laboratories are top notch
I have been into electronics and stuff from when i started learning science. I like what i do very very much. The quality of teaching is also very good. Teachers are very helpful when we students go to them with our doubts.
The quality of placement in my college is not that good but it is not that bad aslo. I don't exactly remember the highest salary package but it was good.I haven't graduated yet but what i have heard from seniors is that the placement cell is very supportive.
I pay 140k for my electronics course and i do feel that it's worth it
Vidyalankar institute of technology has interactive classrooms with WiFi services all over the campus we have a separate building as a sports arena where indoor and outdoor sports are played. We have well furtinized lab with all the updated technology. The canteens are a hygiene place for lunch and breakfast
Our teachers are of great work experience and most of them are PhD holders and doctorate degree. We have one of the most qualitative teaching and a cooperative approach to our learning skills . They look after the all around development of the students with academics and conducting workshops as well
Placements are well and students are well trained and well spoken for the interviews we even have an internship cell which gives summer and winter internships and even in house internships. College is very supportive during placements
Yes the course is quite worth the money we pay as fees every year
Campus life is outstanding at Vidyalankar institute of technology. We have students all over the state of Maharashtra coming
According to me this is the best infrastructure any college can have and it genuinely has the best Infrastructure in the Mumbai University. It is well maintained, modern , and a lively campus, it has a seperate basement just for the labs starting from common labs , computer labs , electronics labs equipped with some of the rarest and costliest equipment’s which you cannot find in any other college. All labs are air conditioned . Library is huge . It has its own reading section and book section.
The academics is the part that I am very proud of the college as a student of this college. The teachers are gems , they are the most knowledgeable person I have met and everyone has a lot of teaching experience and they are in the top ranks of their fields . The curriculum is up to date ready for future and the college is even NAAC accredited and have got A+ rating by them. Even the departments like electronics and biomed are NBA accredited which gives the seal of approval of their teaching .
Placements are good than most of the colleges . It has a good placement record . The highest placement is of 37.5 lpa . The college has started seriously preparing their students for the placements and have started providing them with internships, Trainings, guidance for higher studies , pre placements mock tests to make them future ready and improve their skill sets
It cost 1.40 lakhs per year and I think it is definitely worth it the quality of the education , infrastructure, facilities, quality of teachers , extra curricular events and all the other small things add up and make every penny worth
The college is the best . I spend most my time here it has a very good college life . It has even a separate block which we call the “den” here u have all the sports and equipment’s ranging from table tennis , pool , air hockey, pool table , PlayStation and a bunch of gaming PCs . Yes we do have all this . And you can come here whenever you get a free lecture. Every Friday evening we have a extra curricular event called as Friday Pathshaala
The very first thing an individual sees when he/she enters the college is infrastructure. The first impression for me of my college is absolutely great. Libraries, laboratories, sports centers, study room, canteen, classroom are clean always kept neat and clean.
I am currently pursuing B.E in Computer Engineering. The quality of teaching s excellent. All the teachers share immense knowledge regarding academics as well as concepts which help us in understanding the subject more enthusiastically,
We as a students are blessed to have studying in VIT which gives maximum exposure to IT field through placements. We have all the major companies coming to our college for placements such as TCS ,LnT,etc
Our fees for one year (which includes two semesters) is 1,40,000(open category) which is worth, considering the quality of services they provide like libraries, recreational activities, courses, workshops. Our college has recently started giving value added courses as well.
Our campus life is pretty enjoyable.Teachers teach us the subject in a way which makes each and every subject interesting for us.The concepts they teach us are remembered for a longer time. All teachers are very good and always co-operative and helpful.
I would recommend my college to each and every engineering aspirant as my college has every quality that an ideal college should possess.Academics as well all as non academics are balanced in an excellent manner.
Have one of the best infrastructure in mumbai, best faculties who guides you always, and college has best and newest laboratories equipment. Each classroom has its own projector with smart classroom equipt. College also have its own sports ground with gym section and also have gaming zone with latest and popular games installed and indoor games as well as outdoor. One of the best canteens in Mumbai is one of the vidyalankars with better hygene and more options in menu.
Vidyalankar provides best qualtity of service. Where I'm studying BE. in Information Technology in final year so its been more than 3 years I've spent in this college and faculty of each department is very supportive and helpful. And since vidyalankar comes under MU its syllabus is updated and updates every 2 -3 Years.
Every year lots of company visit VIT and the number of company visiting for placement goes on increasing every year. Almost 75 - 85% of students are placed and this too have been increased. Highest package ever the student have achieved in VIT placement is 32 Lakh. And average salary offered is between 3.5 - 4.5 Lakh Per Annum. Placement process is very much professional and and college is always very helpful in this aspect.
VIT cost you almost 1.35 or 1.25 lakh each year. And comparing with the service provided by the college is very much worthy. The whole campus is very friendly and everyday you gain knowledge from excellent faculties.
VIT campus has the best infrastructure and engineered. VIT has its own Student council and student chapter and teachers also are part of these committees and very much supportive and engaged in extra curricular activities. Also college is is located in Wadala, Mumbai which is 5 - 8 mins away from Wadala station and also there are sharing taxi and AC and Non - AC BEST bus services from station till VIT College.

Awesome college.
Hello!
Here are some colleges that are better than VIT Mumbai for Computer Science in Mumbai:
1. IIT Bombay
2. Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute
3. Sardar Patel Institute of Technology
4. K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering
5. Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering
6. Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering
Hello,
With a JEE Main rank of 83,472, getting into VIT Mumbai in CAP Round 2 under the OMS (All India) category is not possible. In recent years, the cutoff for branches like Computer Engineering in CAP Round 2 was around 4,500 to 5,000. Since your rank is much lower, chances are almost negligible.
Hope it helps !
In JEE Mains 2024, the closing rank for the Computer Engineering branch at VIT Mumbai for the General category (All India quota) was around 99,339. For the EWS category, the cut-off is usually a bit relaxed, so you might get in with a slightly higher rank. Exact EWS cut-off isn't officially mentioned, but if your rank is close to or below 1 lakh, you have a fair chance. Keep checking the official counselling updates for confirmation.
