The infrastructure offered by the college, as well as the department, is quite good with no issues found. Cleanliness of infrastructure was good, and libraries were provided to students for studying and reading purposes from morning to evening. Hostel facilities are also very good, with hygienic rooms and good food provided. Health facilities are available to the students, and sports and games such as cricket, volleyball, and badminton are available on campus for group play.
Teachers were very kind to the students, providing helpful information for their career perspectives. Students participated in several hackathons and workshops as part of the course curriculum, led by industry-leading companies. Semester exams were moderate, with difficulty depending on the subjects; the pass percentage is 98 percent.
Approximately 60 percent of students were placed on our campus in our Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The highest base salary offered was 12 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Cognizant, Benz, and HP. None of the students were placed in internships from the college. Top roles were in software development and web development.
We have well-equipped labs with all the required teaching for computer science subjects. This includes virtual machines to run UBUNTU, the latest model of the computers, and more. We even have an open-source lab, where students get free and unlimited access to Wi-Fi to improve their technical skills. The mess provides really good food for hostel students. However, the food in the canteen for non-hostelite is overpriced. There isn't good infrastructure for sports and games.
Our teachers are extremely qualified with a very good percentage of faculty members holding doctorates. Most of them are very good at helping students understand concepts. The course curriculum is highly relevant and the syllabus is handpicked for our respective industries.
Last year, we had 60-70% of placements despite the recession. The highest salary package offered was 41 LPA and it was a foreign placement. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average salary package was around 7 LPA - 9 LPA. Almost everyone got an internship from the college, if not by any company.
College classrooms are very well-equipped. Live casting of classes happens through the Imparts platform and new buildings are built, which is good. Hostel is maintained well. Cleanliness is good. Washing machines, Wi-Fi, and cleaning staff are provided with good hygienic food.
College faculty members are well-qualified and resourceful. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready with special attention to subjects like DSA. Semester-end exams are held strictly and the pass percentage is 90% in CSE.
70% students of CSE get placed at VVCE. The highest package is 27 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiters include HPE, Mercedes Benz, Bosch, Azentio, etc. and many others like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini. Top roles include SDE at different roles.
Our college has a great infrastructure with multiple classrooms on each floor. Multiple buildings are assigned for all branches. There are fully equipped and specialised labs for all branches. The hostel is great with good Wi-Fi. Mess food is healthy and good. Multiple interactive classrooms are also there.
Teachers are great and most of them are PhD holders in their respective subjects. They are extremely friendly and work with the goal of creating engineers fit for today's requirements. All faculty members are well-trained and are extremely knowledgeable. They know how to interact with students.
Our college provides good job offers. Good companies offer placements with high averages and good highest salary packages. Multiple companies come for all branches, especially for software and IT-related fields. The highest salary package offered in 2024 was 41.3 LPA. Multiple students joined companies like HPE.
The overall college infrastructure is very good, they provide the quality infrastructure to the students, they provide the wifi and they provide the smart boards and they also provide online video lectures in impartus
The academic was good in vvce ,they curriculum was well updated and they provide what industry need from the students and they recently add the new development tools like Devops tools and other full stack courses was good
They provide the very good placement from past few years, many students are placed above 10LPA package, many good recruiters are come to this college like Benz,hp,epicore, Accenture, Infosys etc they provide the better placement
The overall college is value for money, the cost for 1 year cost was around 1.2 lakh , also they provide the vvce scholarship for students with low income and they encourage the students to participate in other non curricular activities
Infrastructure is good compare it has everything good class rooms well equipped labs and 2 canteens and one coffee shop and very good facility for students sit in the ground and near the coffee day but the parking space is not having enough space for all vehicles
Academics are not that level impressive when compared to industry level skills and when comes to placement we can not relay on the academics what they teach in the college academics include large number of old syllabus and outdated subjects which are mostly not used in industry
Right now at 2024 there are now that level of placement happening because there is AI everywhere and the college academics is not helping for placements except some subjects the management needs to take more steps towards about placements and teach the required skills for the students.
I would say the college infrastructure is average to good depending on the department you are enrolled in if you are CSE branch you would relatively get new classrooms ,smartboards and other things. Books are available in the library with E-resources included
The curriculum is almost same as VTU since it is autonomous the college makes some changes so that it would match with the current industry standards so that students can be job ready but even after all these measures some parts of the syllabus is outdated and irrelevant
The placements are average it all depends on your self studying capabilities and your thinking prowess. Some product based companies also visit the campus but the competition is high. The mean salary is about 5 LPA.
College Infrastructure is good as there is new building of 12 floors which contains labs with PC's containing latest processors and smart teaching Systems, especially if you are in IT branches all majority of the equipments are new.
I am studying Computer Science and Engineering, since the intake has increased to 540 the quality of the faculties may be questionable but you are good to go as there are valuable mentors who guide you through
I would the placements are good for IT branches but for the core branches placements in core companies may be difficult as companies who hire from core branches majority of them go to Tier 1 colleges for placements
Vidyavardhaka college has excellent infrastructure with Wi-Fi enabled campus, Industry Supported Labs, Department wise library, Gym, Health Center and Sports including indoor sports complex. Free incubation Facility For student start-ups.

If I talk about infrastructure the college provide all the basic facilities. Providing all the lab facilities and a huge library full of books. The campus is lush green which encourages student friendly environment.
The college provides good stuff to study and the faculties are really helpful and friendly, they use to encourage extra-curricular activities for the overall development of the student . I would its a best college in terms of academics.
As I was from the batch of 2011 means a decade ago but still, we've got good placement from the college especially from BE electrical department, some companies like HCL, Infosys and TCS has visited the campus for the final placement offer with the average placement package of 5.5 LPA.
It's overall gives you the best ROI.
That just an amazing Journey
With a KCET rank of 140,000, chances of getting CSE at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysore, are extremely unlikely. 2024 closing rank for General Merit candidates was around 16,185 in Round 1 and extended to ~15,247 in later rounds . Even for Computer Science via lateral entry (DCET) in
