Infrastructure in our college is good. We have very good lab facilities, even in some of our labs ACs are installed. Teaching staff and lab assistants are well-trained. The classrooms and cafeteria are above average. At last, even though the environment is good there is a lot more improvement needed
Even though the teaching staff are well qualified, their way of teaching can be improved. The semester-end exams are much more difficult. But the passing percentage is 87%. It is due to the efforts of the students as well as teachers. But the college management is in a very hurry that they are completing the semester within 3 months. Other: I can say that placements is not guaranteed in this college.
The percentage of students placed in mechanical engineering last year was 67%. The highest package offered is 27 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Benz, Toyota, Bosch, etc. Placements in our college need to be improved very much.
The infrastructure for the computer science department at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru is modern and well-equipped. Classrooms are smart-enabled with projectors and Wi-Fi, while state-of-the-art computer labs are equipped with the latest hardware and licensed software. Central library is spacious, digitally cataloged, and offers access to IEEE, springer, and other research databases, supporting both academic and research needs.
Faculty members at VVCE are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. Most professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees and deliver concepts clearly with practical insights. The curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry trends like AI, ML, cloud, and data science, making students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging, focusing on both theory and application. The pass percentage is around 85-90%, thanks to continuous internal assessment, assignments, and lab evaluation that help students stay on track. Overall, the academic environment is supportive and geared towards professional growth.
VVCE offers seven B.E. streams, computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, mechanical, civil, and information science, plus M.Tech and MBA, and supports nine research centers for doctoral pursuits. Typically, around 70-85% of eligible students got placed (varies by batch). The highest package peaked at 33 LPA in recent years. The average package ranges from 4 LPA to 7 LPA depending on the discipline every year.
The infrastructure for your course and hostel. The department has well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, projectors in classrooms, and access to a decent library with technical and non-technical books. The hostel facilities are good. They provide clean rooms, 24/7 water, and power backup. The mess food was average but hygienic.
Most teachers are helpful and qualified. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders. A few lacked interactive teaching skills, but overall, the teaching quality was fine. The curriculum is regularly updated and includes emerging topics like ML, cloud, and cybersecurity. It is reasonably aligned with industry needs, especially for students who are proactive. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but if you attend classes and study regularly, it's manageable.
Around 75-80% of students in my course got placed. The highest package offered is 18 LPA (off-campus through coding contests), the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is around 5.5 LPA - 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, and a few startups. A decent number of students also got internships in companies like Virtusa, Deloitte, and Byju's. The most common roles offered were software developer, QA engineer, system analyst, and business analyst.
The college provides lot of facilities in flavor of students like, there are well-equipped labs in all departments, there are good comfortable classrooms and well resource library. The Wi-Fi facilities are made accessible in labs and some workshops to makes students learning easy.
Some teachers are very helpful, they so humble that they clarify our doubts even in their free times and put effort to make us understand. The course curriculum was not upto the mark for our batch but are trying improve for upcoming batches. Even there are practices sessions and work shops so that the students can get idea about industry requirements. The exams are easy can easily score studying 10days before exams.
Even though there was recession was going on the college was successful in placing 40-60 % of students in good companies. The companies visited our college offer wide range of packages in which the highest is 17.5LPA and the lowest package offered was 2LPA. The average package would be 4.5LPA. The top recruiting companies are wipro, mahindra, hp, tcs, cognizant, Econ, aurigo and many more. There were not much of opportunities for internships through on-campus

Cleanliness of infrastructure was good, and libraries were provided to students for studying and reading purposes from morning to evening. Hostel facilities are also very good, with hygienic rooms and good food provided. Health facilities are available to the students, and sports and games such as cricket, volleyball, and badminton are available on campus for group play.
Teachers were very kind to the students, providing helpful information for their career perspectives. Students participated in several hackathons and workshops as part of the course curriculum, led by industry-leading companies. Semester exams were moderate, with difficulty depending on the subjects. the pass percentage is 98 percent.
Placements are good for our batch. Approximately 70 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 24 lpa, the lowest package is 3 lpa, and the average is 6 lpa. The top recruiting companies were HP, Western Digital, Mercedes-Benz, Cognizant, and Accenture. Less than 10 percent of students got placed on internships. The top roles are web, software development, and sales.
Our college provides many facilities. Classrooms are well-equipped and spacious. Projectors and smart boards are available in classrooms. The expansive, meticulously maintained campus offers ample space for students to engage in recreational activities, including impressive sports facilities with well-kept grounds and courts for activities like badminton, etc.
The faculty in our college is excellent and very supportive. They teach us how to survive in a company and in society, and the result is 100 percent. The semester exam papers are at the next level they provide applied-level questions that make you think outside the box.
The placements at our college are very good, with the highest package being 33 LPA, an average of about 6 LPA. Companies like Infosys and other top companies have about 90 percent of students getting internships, and about 93 percent of students are placed. It is the best college for engineering.

There is a robotics lab in association with IIT Bombay to design integrated circuits. Our college has a separate and dedicated lab with cadence tools in association with Vivaratan Technologies.

Labs are fully equipped. Wi-Fi is all around the campus and classrooms are well maintained. Hostel has a friendly environment and food quality is superb. There is 24/7 medical availability. They encourage sports at national and international levels.
Teachers are highly qualified and they are very helpful. They help us to improve our knowledge. Teaching quality is wonderful. Moderate difficulty level is there in the exams. The course makes students industry ready.
There are 90% placements. The highest package is 33.3lpa, average is 6 LPA and the lowest is 4lpa. Mercedes Benz, cisco, dell, intel, etc. are the top recruiters. 93% students got internship in Infosys, l&t, nokia, google, etc. They give us a very good training for good placements such as group discussion and much more.
The college is very spacious with different buildings for different branches. Apart from this, the college has a library with a vast collection of books, and the labs are up-to-date. The hostel and mess facilities are good as well. There are multiple grounds including a basketball court and a tennis court.
The teachers are well qualified to teach, most of them have doctorates in their subject matter. Furthermore, they possess hands-on experience and help with any doubts. The curriculum is very relevant and makes a student industry-ready. The college focuses on exams so that one can score well if they listen to the class.
