First of all congratulations on securing 94 percentile and considering you would be having the benefit of ews quota. So let me tell you that if I were to go by the previous years trends then surely you would get a seat in IT branch as you would be clearing the cut off.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

The placement of both the colleges is not that great.However VESIT provides placements in comparison to GECA to some greater extent.Almost 60 percent of students get placed in IT companies and only 10-12 percent in core companies.. Accenture is the top recruiter of the college followed by Capgemini and LTI. The salary package stays between 7-3.5 LPA.Faculties and infrastructure are almost same according to me.

VESIT has surrendered institute quota seats to the Centralized admission process (DTE). 100% admissions are through the Centralized admission process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. Basically there no management quota available at VESIT for direct admission. Check the link given below for more information.

The cutoff rank for JEE mains in VESIT, Mumbai was around 32k to 35k for B.tech CSE.
For B.tech IT, the cutoff rank was around 45k in VESIT.
So, you have almost no chances of getting ba seat in b.tech CSE and b.tech IT.
So please go for some other good engineering colleges in mumbai which accept JEE mains score.
