Hello there
CRL means your Common List Rank which includes all the other categories as well. While Category Rank means your rank only in your particular category. Now IPU has various reservations like 15% All India reservation, 85% state reservations and some small reservations under each category. Hence you can apply to the college either by your category rank or your common rank. It's better to use your category rank at first since it is lower and more beneficial.

Also the cutoffs vary from the category you belong to such as General, EWS, OBC, SC, ST. I am giving a general idea of the colleges you can get assuming you are from Delhi General category.

According to web data and results based on student reviews , NIRF Rankings and Placements stats is  quite better in Delhi Technological University compared to Maharaja Agrasen Institute . Let know some details about colleges .

Delhi Technological University

It is a Public/Government Institute and have UGC Approval , Courses offered here is Btech , MBA ,mtech e.t.c. It have good NIRF Rankings , Good facilities available and 252 students rated 4.4/5 for this Institute .

Maharaja Agrasen Institute

It is a Private college and affiliated to university , Courses offered here is btech and MBA , Good facilities but only Boys have hostel and 282 Students rated 3.7/5 for this Institute .

You have Scored 341 marks in IPU CET for BJMC course but failed to take admission in another reason. Now you  want to apply as a general candidate.

If your marks  matched with the cutoff of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for general candidate then you can be eligible for taking admission in IPU for BJ MC course.

Spot counselling sessions are highly unpredictable in the sense that it all depends upon the number of seats left to fill, number of candidates applying for spot admission, number of candidates actually appearing and the number of candidates with complete set of documents available at the time of admission.

Unfortunately, IPU and most private colleges do not upload much information regarding candidates applying and getting selected in spot counselling as most NLUs do so it is hard to say if you can comfortably get admission or not.

If the last cut off was 3600 then the closer your rank is to that number the higher your chances of admission during spot counselling. That said, you do have a shot at admission with your rank but I'd personally suggest to not count on it completely and have  a backup admission plan ready.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that last year the maximum rank in OBC Delhi which was accepted was approximate 13000 rank. With this rank it might be difficult to get a decent college in IPU. You can look for other private colleges which offers admission on the basis of their respective entrance test or personal interview round.
