There is a diplomatic answer to your question. First of all it depends on oneself whether he/she wants to join a coaching insititute or not. And if yes then it's not a easy thing to do so. There are examples from the coaching hub of our country, KOTA, where students come 1-2 hours prior of class just to get a front row seat. And at the same place there are students where they attend just for name sake.

But everything has it's pros and cons, sometimes the coaching classes aren't giving you the things and knowledge you think are important. And sometimes you prefer studying self despite doing in a batch of 60. Also the advantage of doing coaching is you get to meet many students who are sharp and can help you in some doubts . 

And test series which helps a lot for practise but again sometimes the insititue puts the advance level in primary level just to check the students,but this can lead to discrepancy. 

But at last it's YOU who decides what to do next?

If you crack JEE advance the fee structure of IIT BOMBAY will remain same.This is not personal they can't increase fee as their wish. all IIT has same tution fee as order by MHRD.so tution fee will be same i.e. 100k.Hostel or mess fee  may change.

IITs as well as NITs donot accept NATA scores and their admission into B.Arch courses is through JEE (paper 2). Some of the top colleges in India accepting NATA scores are:

• IIEST Shibpur
• Jadavpur University, Kolkata
• Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore
• SRM University, Chennai
• VIT, Vellore
• Andhra University College of Engineering, Vishakhapatnam

If you are confused between Engineering course from IITs and B.Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute? It depend on your interest to pursue the course which you like. If you are interested in any Engineering branch such as CSE, ME, EEE, ECE, etc. you can go for IITs and if you are interested to study statistics, you can go for ISI.

IITs and ISI both are top colleges and placement statistics are good. You can opt for any of the course as per your interest.
