Hello chaithra,
Based on your rank it is difficult for you to get a seat in IIIT Banglore. The minimum percentile required to get into is 99.08 (for CSE) . If you scored this percentile this makes you safe for seat into IIIT-B. But there are few chances for you, irrespective of the branch. If you really feel IIIT Banglore as your dream college. Then you can attempt an exam separately for admission into it.
I am providing you the link to check the cutoff into Top IIIT's below :

Hello Aspirant! According to previous year cutoffs, with this rank of yours you may get admission in IIIT Bangalore with ECE branch. You won't get CSE but you can surely get ECE. The previous year cutoff of IIIT Bangalore ECE and CSE branch is as follows:
For CSE: 8718
For ECE: 10972
You may or may not get as cutoff for this year isn't released. All the Best!
See both of the universities you have mentioned are one of the best institutions in India. So you can choose any of it as it will not make a huge difference. Although from a research and placement point of view, IIIT Bangalore is a bit better than IIIT Delhi. If you see the qualification and the updated profile of the faculty members then you will find in IIIT Bangalore there are professors more active in research. In case of placements the average packages is a bit better. Now its you choice, there isn't a huge difference between this two and frankly speaking every year the stats change, so choose which ever college you prefer.

Hi,
The Seat allotment in JOSAA Councelling depends on various factors like:
Your profile says , you belong to Tamil Nadu. So , your Home State quota falls under NIT Trichy. NIT Trichy did offer Architecture course but it has higher cutoff. For Last year, NIT Trichy has closing rank of 439 for OBC-NCL Category. For the other Institutes, Last year the closing rank for Female quota was under 1000 OBC NCL rank. This rank is for Out of state quota. With your rank, it would be Difficult to get seats in JOSAA. Since there is limited seats of Architecture in NITs & GFTIs, so the closing rank remains low.
I hope this will answer your query.
Thanks!!!!
Hello,
Congratulations on getting a good rank. As I see you have shortlisted pretty good options for you and they all look very promising and career oriented.
I would suggest you to take your preference in this order:
I have given this order based on:
But I would also like you to consider which branch you would like to pursue as a career because Mechanical and ECE/CSE are very different domains, you can always learn parts of both in college but your core branch is what will shape your career after 4 years.
Good luck, Hope it helps!!
Hello Aspirant! With this rank, based on previous year cutoff, your chances are low but as you're from ST category you may get a lower in the last rounds. The previous year cutoffs are as follows:
For CSE: 202 marks
For ECE: 195 marks
So based on this you may not get a seat in IIIT Bangalore but you may definitely try in some other colleges. You can also use this link to predict your college:

No, I believe With a Percentile of 98.6 in JEE Main, you'll not be able to secure a seat in IIIT Bangalore in either Integrated MTech in CSE or ECE. The Cutoff for 2020 for Integrated MTech CSE was 7.3k Rank, whereas for MTech ECE was 9k. With a Percentile of 98.6, your Rank will be anywhere between 14-17k.
Hello aspirant
hope you are doing well and safe. As per your query , I would glad to inform you that at your rank you holds very low chances of getting admission in any nits in any streams . I would advise you instead of wasting time start preparing for next attempt and score atleast below 10000 rank to score better . Following is the link of cut off for reference:-

Hello Aspirant,
See if go through last year's cut-offs as declared by JOSAA for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs then it clearly shows that for NITs the closing OBC rank was around 13k-15k , for IIITs it was around 15k-16k and for GFTIs it was around 20k-21k.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, so I would recommend you to either go for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
