Hello Aspirant,

No on such rank it would be very difficult to get any of the NIT through Other State quota because closing EWS ranks of last year were like :-

@Other state quota

Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Una, Himachal Pradesh - Electronics and Communication Engineering (7114)

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kancheepuram - Smart Manufacturing (8090)

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology - Food Technology (11365)

@Home state quota

National Institute of Technology Agartala - Mechanical Engineering (60272)

National Institute of Technology Puducherry - Computer Science and Engineering (83715)

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/GFTIs under Other state quota, so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for autonomous government colleges or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 cut-off and know whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 or not, so it is given below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

According to your rank in your category, it is really difficult for you to get any NITs and IIITs even through CSAB.

You see there is a lot of competition to get into these renowned colleges making it harder for candidates to get admission in particularly NITs and IIITs .

But you have scored sufficient to sit for state counselling. You can try out colleges you might get according to your rank. You have a chance of getting a lot of good colleges for your rank.

To predict colleges through your JEE MAINS rank please use this JEE MAINS college predictor :-

Dear student,

First of all you must note the following point :-
CSAB SPECIAL ROUND COUNSELING IS ONLY SUNNE OF BASIS OF CRL RANKS for every category, not category ranks.

As you have secured 177700 CRL rank in JEE mains from obc category, then the chances are very low or negligible chances for you to get seat in NITs or any iiits in csab special round counseling.

But you can get some branches in some gftis like mizoram university, Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering & Technology ( electrical engineering, mechanical engineering) , Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology ( food technology ), National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and
Management, haryana, School of Engineering, Tezpur University ( food technology) in csab special round counseling.
