Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
hi john,
it also depends on the branch you wish to opt. But I would like to give you a detailed overview so that you can decide easily. Both the colleges are good but there are certain points to look...
IIIT- Hyderabad :- it is one of the bestest iiits. it is great in terms of intake cutoff, coding environment and placements. The college provides 100% placements. the average salary package is 20LPA.Many companies like Topcoder, Microsoft, Directi etc organize coding events at IIIT-H and it has been consistently performing great in ACM, GSOC etc. The college is good for studies as well as other activities. moreover, it offer 9 courses in btech (computer science). first year fees is rs.3,58,000. The student will get a good exposure all in all.
IIIT-Bangalore :- it is based upon PPP (Public Private Partnership) i.e. funded initially by the government, now self sustaining. There is no reservation, course structure is based on current industry requirements and has decent placements. But outside Bangalore it is not as renowned as Hyderabad. average package is 15L. total fees is 10-15L (depends on your branch. the college is famous for its cse faculty.
Both of the institutes have great infrastructure. according to me, chose IIIT-Hyderabad anyday!!! its worth the fees. it prepares a student in every way possible.

Actually without clearing JEE ADV admission in IITs is not possible. In that case with your rank you have the chances in NITs but not in top ones. As you are from reserved category candidate then you have chances for lower NITs. So go for the counselling because if there is scope then you got your seat.
