hello,
68.8833269 percentile would fetch you a rank around 318324-357842.As of now its tough to say where you can fetch seat because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc
from obc category based on your rank you have tough chances to fetch seat in nits, iiits you need better percentile of 98+ to fetch seat in nits, iiits .even 94-95 percentile would help you land in nits like nit agartala, sikkim in least cutoff branches..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx .
you can try in few top private engineering colleges like :
for top private engineering colleges you can try for the below colleges through jeemains:

Hi aspirant, on behalf of the percentile you have scored it not seems that you can get into any NIT, IIIT. You may try for any GFTI's also in that you may have to sacrifice your desired or top branches like CS, IT and ECE etc.
But you cam also enroll yourself in any good private college also on this rank one should at least be assure about good private college.
So overall you may go for any private college or any GFTI's etc.
Thank You.
Hello aspirant,
Since you didn't mention your category, therefore the answer is given considering your category to be general .On the basis of your percentile your predicted rank lies somewhere between 99026-111320 . But for admission in any of the NIT or IIIT you should have a rank below 50000. The closing rank IIIT Nagpur is 45062.
So i am sorry to say this but your chances of admission into an NIT or IIIT is quite less.
all the very best

Hey,
CSE is the most successful engineering branch nowadays! In terms of coding culture, the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT Bangalore or IIIT-B) is the best. If you solely want to focus on Computer Science and Academics, IIIT Bangalore is a great location to go because coding and SW Engineering disciplines are taught beginning in the first semester. During your first year at NIT, you will study a variety of subjects from several fields
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
Hello Aspirant,
See there is no IIIT in Jaipur but in Rajasthan there is only IIIT and that is situated in Kota which is also called as IIIT Kota.
For IIIT Kota if we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing CRL rank was 29813 for ECE branch in IIIT Kota under All India quota for General/Open category.
Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main score at least 130+ marks out of 300 and percentile against this should be around 97.5+.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

Good Luck!!
With a Percentile of 98.99 in JEE Main, your son has fair chances of securing a CRL anywhere between 11-11.5k in JEE Main. Assuming he is a General Category Aspirant, he has fair chances of securing a seat at one of the following IIITs
IT at IIIT Lucknow, Computer at IIIT Vadodara, Lucknow, Pune, Surat, Nagpur, Bhopal, whichever campus is in vicinity of your place, he may take admission. All are equally Good.
However, he may consider GFTIs like IIEST Shibpur and BIT Mesra, which are much better Ranked have excellent infrastructure and placements. He'll get IT in both these TOP GFTIs and CSE at IIEST at par with the Top NITs.

Hi Ashutosh!
It depends on your ranking. If you do not get into the NITs then yes you should join IIIT (even new like IIIT Guwahati). But I would suggest you to chose the tope/core/most demanded branch over there such as CSE, ECE etc. Do not settle for mechanical, civil or any other branch. As these branches has less placement opportunities than top/core branches. The infrastructure of new IIITs in sound condition and has everything maintained.
Also, one must have heard that “All that glitter is not gold”. There are many candidates who have completed UG , PG or PhD from IITs but still are not able to gain many abilities. So, do not forget to work smart.
Thankyou!
The infrastructure is just awesome with all the requirements. In the central library, all study materials are available for all semesters, and all books are available. Classrooms and labs are equipped with smart boards, and unlimited Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus. There are many grounds for sports like cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball. The quality of the food in the mess is good and hygienic.
