Hi Candidate,
IIIT stands for Indian Institute of Information Technology and the Admission is done through JoSAA counseling based on JEE MAINS Score and Rank. Getting CSE in IIITs is a great deal as the cut off for computing science is pretty high than other branches and hence the competition is tough.
The top five IIITs in India are - IIIT Allahabad , IIITDM Kancheepuram , IIITDM Jabalpur , ABV-IIITM Gwalior, IIITDM Kurnool and the placement for Computer Science Engineering is also higher than other branches. For example, the average package for CSE was 21lakh per annum in IIIT Hyderabad, so it clearly shows that the placement are pretty good.
Hope that my answer helps you. All The Best.
Hello Aspirant,
According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your rank is expected in the range of 246089 - 175204, now on such category and rank you cannot get any of the good NITs or IIITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes if you deserves state quota for some lower NITs or IIITs then you can try but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks because in CSAB counselling the seats are allotted on the basis of your CRL rank and you are not going to get advantage of your category rank so in CSAB counselling it's quite tough to get seat in any IIIT.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

Hello aspirant,
I guide you to choose NIT Manipur instead of IIIT Kurnool. Because the highest CTC in NIT Manipur is 12 Lpa. There are 25 recruiters only for CSE branch. These are top MNC and e-commerce recruiters. So you better choose NIT Manipur. If you want to know more about NIT Manipur then follow NIT Manipur offical website
Good luck.
Hi Aspirant!
This thing depends on your priority, i.e. which branch you want to pursue. Now on the basis of placements NIT SURATHKAL is better and have way better NIRF ranking than IIITM Gwalior.
So now if you want to pursue your careers in IT industry or any other I would recommend you to NIT Surathkal because even pursuing in metallurgy you can find various opportunity in NIT Surathkal which is not in gonna happen in IIITM Gwalior.
I hope it helps.
