Hope this helps you

Hello aspirant,

Don't worry about public exam which hasn't conducted, just keep your total concentration on IIIT exam. Following are the subjects and exam pattern :

It objective type questions.

Subjects are: maths, physical science, biological science.

Mathematics: 50 questions and total of 50 marks.

Physical science: 25 questions and total of 25 marks.

Biological science: 25 questions and total of 25 marks.

You need not worry about the syllabus because it'll be mostly based on your 10th syllabus. If you are interested to gain extra knowledge then you can collect some of the previous question papers of IIIT and you can prepare.

You also have NCERT books available in the market and online stores which are best resources for any type of entrance exam.

You also have YouTube in which you can see videos about the syllabus.

I hope this would help you.

All the Best!!

Hello,

Indian Institute of information technology, Kottayam is a private university with 132 student intake and faculty member are 16. They have all the facilities like wifi, hostel, cafeteria, library, etc on campus.

Their computer science fees is around Rs 8.71 lakhs. They have lower jee main cutoff of 1202.

On Other hand IIIT, Sri city is also a private university and have 270 students intake and 18 faculty members. They also have all the facilities like library, hostle, etc on campus. Their cutoff is more than IIIT kottayam which is 2578. Their fees is around Rs 9.39 lakhs and they have students review of 4.2/5.

So if you have lower rank in jee mains and want lower fees for engineering you should go for IIIT Kottayam.

Dear student,

As you have secured 350000 crl rank in sc category in jee mains then you cannot hey any nits or iiits in csab special round counseling.

Also if your preferred college is iiit Agartala or iiit raipur, then also you can't get any seat in i these iiits as per seeing the last year cutoff closing ranks.

Last year the highest cutoff closing rank in iiit agartala for sc category candidates on the basis of their Crl Rank was - 217585 ( for cse branch in csab round 2 ).

And, Last year the highest cutoff closing rank in iiit Raipur for sc category candidates on the basis of their Crl Rank was - 216149 ( for ece branch in csab round 2 ).

So, there is no chance that you can get iiit agartala or iiit raipur, or any other iiits.

Also in csab special round counseling, with this huge crl rank, you can't get any lower nits, even from your home state quota.

Also there is a very low chance that you can get some gftis in csab round counseling like - National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and
Management, Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering and Technology, School of Engineering, Tezpur University ,etc. Because for these institutes too, the sc category cutoff closing crl rank is nearly 345000.

So, even getting a gfti is also very difficult from this much sc category crl rank.

And check out the following link to know more about csab special round counselling and the previous year cutoff Trends ( note that all the mentioned ranks are CRL rank not category wise ranks ) :-

Thank you.

Hello,

Placements here are very nice as only two streams of CSE and ECE concentrate more on IT companies than the college. Every year, almost 70-80 firms visit our campus.  The alumni of the college are very engaging and open and many are very supportive and provide enough advice on how to select courses and how to plan for placements. Some people use alumni references to get some jobs if they are interested in a domain and that specific business where alumni work.Out of the past 18 batches, the college has a 100 percent placement record. All gets a 6-month internship there and you have to do either internship or thesis in the final semester and some might not get full-time offers, but there are not many instances where this is not transformed, internship would certainly be converted into full-time offer.

Hello Student,

If you have not get any seat during the JOSAA counselling then definitely you can participate in CSAB counselling . This counselling is also called Spot Round counselling. You are eligible for that.

But as per your rank you have very less chances to get a seat in some NIT. Also if you are alotted a seat then you will get Chemical , Mechanical ,Civil in some low NIT.  But you can try this counselling .To know more about CSAB counselling visit the link provided below.
