Hi,
Firstly choose the stream based on your interest levels and not on the paying aspects or other things as if you are good then nobody can stop you from a good salary package.
And if you really want to choose then ece from nit jalandhar will be the better option as it has good faculty , infrastructure and hostel facilities and it is not very far from noida and chandigarh due to which you can apply for various good internships and skill programs in different companies.
The salary package in the college is also good and of you maintain a gpa of above 8 then you will definately acquire a good salary package.
At last decision is yours and choose wisely.
Hope it helps.

Dear Candidate,

Kindly elaborate your query. It is difficult for us to give you a concrete answer based on your statement. Comment in the comments section to know more about your query. We will be more than happy to assist you with your query. We can explain to you in better ways.

Thanks.

Dear parent,

Aa you have secured 145000 CRL rank in JEE mains 2020 from obc category, then with this much rank in JEE mains the chances are negligible for you to get seat in any iiits in both csab special round counseling.

As per your profile I can assume that your son belongs from andhra pradesh, then also by applying home state quota, there is no chance of getting any branch nit andhra pradesh, not even in 2nd csab special round counselling.

But you can get branches in some gftis like mizoram university, gurkula kangri vishwavidyalaya, Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering & Technology, etc in csab special round counseling.
In csab special round you can also get some good gftis like Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, etc.

Also check out the following link to know more about previous years cutoff for csab special round counselling ( note that, all the mentioned ranks are CRL ranks for every category, not the category ranks ) :-

Hello Aspirant,

Thanks for approaching us

I will suggest iiit kotayyam as Among new iiits IIIT Kottayam is more experienced and reputed. As IIIT Kottayam is going to get its permanent campus (first among other iiits) which shows its superiority, sincerity and the speed of developing. In 1 to 2 years IIIT Kottayam will have same reputation as old nits ,iiits and iits also. It has best academic syllabus which is same as for IIIT Hyderabad. Also the location provides it to get best placement as Kochi, Bengaluru and Chennai (Industry areas) are situated very near to Kottayam.

Hope this helps you

Feel free to ask any question

All the best for your future

Hello Aspirant,

If you are looking for Placements- without a doubt, IGDTUW is better.  There students getting placed to renowned companies like Microsoft, Google, Morgan Stanley, Wipro, Wattpad, Adobe, Cisco and many more, every year.

If you are looking for a better job security and are looking for wholesome college experience, where you can have studies and have fun and grow as a person and have a little inclination towards technical field. JOIN IDGTUW.

Now why you shouldn’t.

  1. IIIT-Vadodara is a new IIIT and hence we don’t have a permanent campus yet, it is temporarily functioning in Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar.
  2. The first batch who graduate year (2017), so they doesn’t have a strong alumni base like some top NIT’s and IIT’s.
  3. If you are getting a better IIT or NIT they you should go for it.
  4. If you are least interested in programming or CS/IT, they surely IIIT is not the place to opt.

I hope it helps you.

Hello bharatgandepalli,

Well, Please Provide your CRL Rank along with the Home State specified, Since in CSAB 2020, Only All India Rank(99%) and Home State Quota are applied, and Kindly Ask Again to get an actual assumption based on previous year's trend of CSAB,

but for your reference, you can check here ( CSAB Previous year Cut-Off (https://csab.nic.in/CMS/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=144&iii=Y) )

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that the uptu colleges will take their students through jee mains.

If they are taking through mains then definitely the quality of students will increase there, which means placements percentage will also increase (provided the cut off should not be too low).
