Hey aspirant,
At first I would like to inform you that since you're a student of EWS cateogory, you somehow have managed to make yourself qualified for JoSAA Counselling to apply in several topmost NITs and IIITs.
However now directly coming to the point that as we all have known to the fact that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released the cut-off marks for the particular NITs and IIITs, so it's quite hard for us to tell about the precise cut-off marks of those institutions. Nevertheless according to our assumption, it can be estimated that with your this percentile it's one type of impossible to get chance in the renowned and topmost NIITs and IIITs , but there's a little hope for other low-esteemed NITs like NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Raipur, NIT Goa, NIT Mizoram, NIT Manipur, NIT Sikkim etc in JoSAA counselling only through 85% Home State quota (i.e. if you belong to the respective state of these NITs then only you can grab any seat in these institutions). You can also check the previous year's (2019) cut-off informations of top NITs and IIITs from the following links to get detailed-oriented description regarding your query:

One point should be added here that your rank and percentile is perfectly suitable for many State Government Engineering colleges and top Private colleges, so I guess you've apply for State Level Counselling procedure which has already started.
You can also check your possibilities of getting admission through JoSAA and State Counselling by Careers360 college predictor tool:

Hello aspirant,to get a good nit or iiit your crl rank must be below 60,000 as there are around 55,000 seat in nit's and iiit's so their are very or no chances getting a nit or iiit with the respective rank.
Furthur you can try in CSAB round which occurs after JOSAA counselling for the seats in case left during the counselling.
You should try for your state top colleges.
You have less chance to get into NITs, IIITs or GFTIs with this rank. You should opt for private engineering colleges instead.
Following are some of the best private engineering colleges in India .

Hello,
In my opinion both the colleges are equally good and they do stand important nationally. Although they do not have their own campuses and they are operating from NITs in the respective states. Placements salary are more or less the same for both but people are choosing IIIT Sonepat over IIIT Kota because it is closer to city and hiring people there thus becomes easier. Although due to increasing placements I would also suggest you IIT Sonepat.
You said that you are really interested then if you are not getting your desired branch I would say yes you could try again next year. It depends on your hard work.

Hope it helps,
Good luck.
Hello !
Both have their own reputation. Either of them is better in one or the other way. If you are passionate about coding and computers, then you should opt for CS from VIT. IF you are not that passionate towards coding and stuff then choose ECE from IIT. Both will have heavy competition when it comes to education. You can prefer IIT rather than VIT because VIT( Vellore Institute of Technology) is a deemed university. But when it comes to IIT( Indian Institute of Technology) Jabalpur it comes under central government of India. When it comes to placements companies would prefer IIT over VIT. VIT is best if that is going to be Vellore campus. None other than VIT Vellore campus should be preferred over IIT's. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was of some help.
Thank you
Hello
Look, first decided what course you want to take and then go for college selection. Choose a career you need. Difference between CS and IT is CS has narrow field and IT has a very broad field. Cs Cs takes the subject depth and IT more subjects.
.
Now coming to college you can go for any of the. College both are very well rated and reviewed. Both have a very good faculty and Infrastructure

According to your rank you have very low chances of getting CSE branch in any Nit/IIIts. You may get some lower branches in lower Nits/IIIts but for CSE chances are very low.
