Naveenv495 , For ECE IIIT Jabalpur is better because it is good in terms of placement, academics and all and fees is also approx. same for both colleges but in terms of infrastructure IIIT kancheepuram is better.

though highest package offered is from iiit kanchepuram..

you should choose jabalpur as security is higher there and you can apply for highest from any where (off campus)

CSAB - NEUT is designed for seat allocation in the government colleges all over India for the students of north east and union territories . For direct admission into NITs, IIITs, GFTIs candidates need to register in JoSAA portal. It is important to note that these seats are other than those offered through CSAB 2020, which is for NITs, IIITs & GFTIs.

According to the information available at official website of the college it is shown that cutoff for CSE is nearly 7000 and cutoff for ECE is nearly 9000 so you can get admission there as there cutoff for category wise not shown and it is a good college for  ece integrated course where average placements according to official website is nearly 15-17 LPA so in terms of placements it is a very good college

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs or IIITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

Your category rank is very low at this rank it is very difficult to get seat in any iiit. But if you have you state quota for any iiit then their might be a chance to get seat in that college. This answer is given on the basis of previous year college cut off and you know that cut off changes every year. Also college seat is depend on various factors rathe than rank.

At this rank you can go for state college counselling or any private college.
