Hello there,
You haven't mentioned your home state, and the branch you want to choose. Analysing the previous year data, you have low chances of getting into IIITs and NITs. Don't worry, you can still get many good private colleges with this percentile.

You can check the cut-off ranks of all the NITs from the link given below:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches/amp

You can check the cut-off rank of all the IIITs from the link given below:

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

Hii, according to the ranking based on student preference, academics and placements the order be somewhat like
IIIT Guwahati is more preferable then IIIT Jabalpur and IIIT Kanchipuram.
The faculties ,placements and campus is very good in IIIT Guwahati.

Hello jagan,

As per my research, IIIT Kancheepuram is best quoted in relation to placement and reputation.

It has recorded the highest package till now and that is 20LPA. Whereas, IIIT Basar has recorded 17LPA.

For mechanical engineering also, best faculty and practical knowledge can be earned at IIIT Kancheepuram. Its internship opportunities are great and will always thrive you thoroughly to seek knowledge.

Hi Rohit,

A total of 1776 students were supposed to write the exam in Bhubaneswar out of which 793 skipped the test. A total number of 38,200 students had enrolled for the JEE exam from Odisha .

THANK YOU

Dear student,

First of all must mention your category in which you have got 93 percentile score in JEE mains 2020.

Now assuming that you belong from general category then there is a very low chance that you can get any NITs or iiits. But if you belong from home state of certain nits then by applying your home state quota then you can easily get some of the Nits like NIT Sikkim, NIT mizoram, NIT Puducherry, nit hamirpur, etc. in all these nits you can get civil engineering and in nit Sikkim you can get computer science engineering, but the condition is that you must belong grin home state quota.
Otherwise if you belong from other state then you have no chance to get a seat in good Nits.
And with 93 percentile you cannot get top nits like NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Delhi etc even if you belong from home state quota.
And also there is very negligible or no chance for you to get any iiits

Dear student,
They generally don't consider the extra curriculum certificates. They only give admission by taking your jee marks. However you have chance of getting into your home state government colleges and IIITs.

Dear Aspirant

At first lots of congratulations for your results .
I .According to trends of previous years and this year's JEE MAIN cut off I am afraid to inform you that your chances of getting admission into colleges NITs and IIITs are almost negative. However You can try in state level counselling and private colleges .One thing is important that admission in SC category entirey depends upon that particular category rank , not the All India rank.
you can check previous years cut off

Best Wishes.

Hi Aspirant!

There is no big difference in Information Technology And Computer Science and Technology, just there is one change in book in third year of your B.Tech otherwise the whole course is same.

As you are getting Information Technology in IIIT Allahabad it is so good for you because you get to learn about Computers technology more from your first semester which is not in the case of CSE.

Hence to sum up I recommend you to surely pursue IT in IIIT Allahabad and do not worry about CSE or IT as there is no big difference .

Happy Hustling!

Hello,
As per last years cutoff you have less chances of getting IIITs with this rank.
You should try for private institutes, as there are many well reputed private colleges in India. You can also use the college predictor tool to know about all possible colleges you might get based on your rank.

Your category is very low and at this rank it is very difficult to get seat in any nit.

But here I listed some colleges where you can get seat with this branch only if you have state quota for them:-
