Hi aspirant,

You have obtained a common Rank list (CRL) rank of 3,92,952 in JEE Main and your corresponding SC category rank is 27,510. With such rank even SC category rank it is very tough for you to get admission in NITs or IIITs. Generally, seat allocation don't reach that much rank. Nevertheless, you can predict your college including GFTIs and branch options based on your rank by using the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope it helps you.

Hello,

The colleges in question no doubt are one of the top colleges in India for Engineering. If you mean to compare the colleges based on the placement record over the past years, I am briefing the details of the placement records below:

The highest package offered to a student of CSE in MNIT Jaipur was 37 lpa. The average package during placement  reached to a whooping 13.36 lpa. This data is for the academic year 2018-19.

Now for the IIIT Sonipat, the highest package offered to a student was 40lpa. The average package of the batch of students considering as a whole was 8 lpa. The exact placement record for the branch of CSE was however not known.

I hope this has somewhat eased your doubts.

Hello There ,

Assuming you're talking about JEE Mains , You can apply for josaa counselling ,according to your category you can get some lower nit's or your home state nit as the cutoff is low and also you can get a seat in csab  . Apart from nit , you can apply for iiit and various gfti also , which offer admission through josaa and you can apply for state counselling for applying to the state government colleges .

Hi Aspirant!

According to previous year last round cutoffs, the maximum rank under which a candidate got the admission in lowest college in lowest branch under OBC category and other state quota is under 22k but your rank is far from that range hence it would be impossible for you to get any college either NIT,IIIT or GFTI but you can check your possibility with HOME State quota by follow up the below article by Career360 and can even try your luck in CSAB Special counseling.

You can follow these Career360's articles for a better understanding of cutoffs.

HAPPY HUSTLING!

Hi aspirant,
With 19000 rank in your SC category it is bit tough to get the seat in any NIT or IIIT. But still you can manage to get seat in any state colleges which accepts the admission through the JEE mains ranking. Or else If you have written any other state entrance exam or any college entrance exam, you can get admission through that.
For good prediction of your college please go through this link

Hello aspirant,

No, you can't secure a seat in IIIT using AP EAMCET scorecard. JEE Main exam, which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), is an entry level exam to get into NITS, IIITs and CFTIs and to get into premier institutes as IITs, JEE Advanced marks are taken into account respectively. Marks of JEE Main will be scrutinized for B. Tech courses ECE and CSE which is of 4 years course duration. For more information, visit the official website and go through it.

Hope, it helps you.

Greetings gani!

IIIT Bangalore does not conduct any separate entrance examination for Integrated MTech and postgraduate courses. The selection is done on the basis of the score of Paper-I of JEE Main and GATE score respectively. IIIt Bangalore provides around 7 courses at postgraduate and doctorate level. For MSc Digital Society and research programmes, the institute conducts an entrance test followed by an interview.

Also note that their is no reservation or category involved in admission process it is solely on merit.

Hope it helps!

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the IIITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Dear student,

As you have secured 28766 general category rank and 4666 ews rank, then you have chances to get nits or iiits or gftis.
Now as your preferred college is iiit varodara, then you have some what les chances to get seat in it.

Last year the josaa was of total seven rounds, so if this year the josaa were of 7 rounds, then you can easily got a seat in iiit vadodara.

But as you know this year the josaa will be of 6 round and as per seeing the last year cutoff closing ranks for round 5 and round 6 counseling, your chances are quite difficult in iiit varodara.

Here are the last year highest cutoff closing ranks for iiit vadodara :-

Round 5 :-
General category - 27263 ( information technology)
Ews category - 3578 ( information technology)

Round 6 :-
Ews category - 3626 ( information technology)
General category - 27780 ( information technology)

So, as you can see the chances for getting seat in iiit varodara is little bit difficult for you, even in 6th round counseling. And even more difficult in 5th round counseling.

Now, also note that you cannot change your choices.
You were allowed to change and lock choices till 15th October 2020, and this date is gone. After mock seat allotment you had a chance to rearrange your filled choices, but now you cannot do it. Not even for any round counseling.
So, there is no chances for you to add or remove any choices.

Dear aspirant,

According to your jee mains rank and considering you as sc category candidate ,it is next to impossible to get a seat in any of the nits or iiits.

Maybe if you wait for csab rounds ,you should be able to get a seat . But again, csab round cut offs change every year according to availability of seats after josaa rounds . There is 40-60 ratio to get a seat or not.
