Hello student,
CSE at IIIT Pune would be a better choice since it is more established and older IIIT whereas IIIT Sonepat is a new and upcoming one. Since both of them are CFTIs they are of the top institutions in the country. IIIT Pune is one of the higher ranked and hence it would be preferred. You can consider the following factors before choosing it.
Here are few factors to consider that college:
Infrastructure and college life:
IIIT Pune has a good infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.
Fa culty and quality of education:
All the faculties are qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.
Placements:
Placements are good as good companies visit this college. students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from companies.
According to our website, It is a very good rated one

Hi there!
Well to answer this first let’s lookout of few points,
• CSE at Nit Puducherry started within the year 2010 where because it is started in IIITDM K as Computer engg. in 2007 which they're gonna change as CSE from subsequent years.
• Curriculum is sort of good in both the institute and faculties are experienced(I will say IIITDM has better faculties just don’t argue with them).
• Both are new institutes and infrastructure wise IIITDM is currently in better position as NIT Puducherry has recently shifted to its permanent campus.
• Placement wise both are average. I can say about IIITDM, if you've got decent cgpa (Preferably >7.5) , you'll be allowed to take a seat altogether the businesses . in fact afterwards your skills and knowledge matters to urge placed somewhere.
Apart from all this, you will get enough time to explore yourself and you will get ample opportunities if you're sincere.
So, did you get your answer.
Dear Student,
It seems that you have to face a lot of difficulties in getting in seat in NIT's with this rank. But you have some chances to get a seat in some low and new NIT's like NIT Agaratla , NIT Sikkim etc. But ECE branch could be difficult for you. You can get branches like ME , Civil, Chemical etc.
You can try state colleges by participating in state level counsellings . You have chances to get ECE in some Govt. college. You can also use our JEE Mains college predictor tool to predict colleges for you based on your score. Below is the link for that.

Hello Rahul! According to the new fees structure followed by IIIT Jabalpur since 2018, fees for General and OBC category is the same (Rs.80,040 for 2020-2021). Fees waiver is only for SC/ST students:
Your fees might be waivered in case you own any government scholarships.
Hope this helped!
Dear aspriant,
According to your rank, it is next to impossible to get any seat in IIIT or nit.
You can look for gfti like guru ghasidas, bilaspur and Assam University. B ut you have to wait for csab round for that also.
But i would personally recommend you to go for any other college other than these,if you are not willing to take a drop.
Dear aspriant,
According to your rank ,it is very difficult to get into top 15 nits but you have a chance to get into lower nits like Meghalaya,Mizoram and other parallel nits but you should take part in csab rounds to increase your possibility to get a seat.

Hello Student,
Both the NIT's and IIIT's have their own benefits. As the case of NIT's there are nearly 31 NIT's in India .And all the NIT's generally provide all the courses for engineering . The salary package is very nice in NIT's . Also the college life is very good and enjoyable.
Now the IIIT's , they are also many in India. They generally provide courses related to IT sector. College life is less enjoyable then NIT's . Package is also good because of core branches here.
If you have interest in IT branches like CSE , ECE ,IT then you must go to IIIT's , because they only have these branches and also the package is very good.
But if you want to explore college life alongwith a good branch and a good placement then you can stay at NIT's .
And in my opinion if you are a IT sector lover then you must go to IIIT's besides taking some low branches at NIT's.
Hope this helps.
Hello Aspirant,
