Hi there!

There is no point in comparison with a state level college to that at a national level...though I agree that JITU is one among the good universities...and IIITS being a new college...which was started in the previous year..If you go through the cutoffs this year.. you can make out to which extent the university has set it's standards...and moreover...Other collages like IIIT kanchipuram which had their first placements the previous year or so..turned out to be really great ....so it doesn't matter much if the institute is a new institute...All that matters is the quality of education...All d we students of IIITS are proud and confident enough that our college soon would me one among the top universities!

Hi, based on your category rank that is 52K I may assume that your overall All India Rank will lie in range between 300K-400K.  No I would like to put light on the thing that at this rank it is very difficult to get into any NIT, but i can say that you may get into any GFTI for sure. Select the GFTI colleges through predicting them with the help of Careers360 JEE Mains college predictor tool(link is mentioned below);

Good Luck.

Hi, on the basis on your rank you can surely get an NIT and GFTI etc. But let me tell you that on this rank you will lack in getting top NIT but you can get up to Normal or below NIT and may be you have to face some problem while choosing or selecting top branches like CS and IT but I'm sure you will manage to get Core branches for sure. So I'm mentioning some of the NIT's and other institutes also in which you may try to get admission anyhow;

  • NIT, Meghalaya
  • NIT, Agartala
  • NIT, Srinagar
  • NIT, South Sikkim
  • NIT, Pondicherry
  • NIT, Aizwal
  • IET-DAVV, Indore
  • HBTU, Kanpur
  • UNiversity Institute of Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidlaya, Bhopal
  • GTBIT, New Delhi

Etc.

I'm also mentioning the link of Careers360 Jee Mains college Predictor with the help of which you will be able to know the right and accurate information of colleges you can get withing any rank range(link mentioned below); https://engineering. careers360.com/jee-main- college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici= qna_answer

Good Luck.

Dear Aspirant,

As it is difficult to arrange the colleges for you because it's totally depends on your interest and choice

But,You should fill the choices according to your preference, like which college with which branch you want first.

According to me,you should fill that college first in which you think that your chances are low but you want to go in that college so that even if you don't get that college then you might get another in lower preference.

But if you fill the college first in which cut offs are always low then you will get that college in starting rounds and you'll not able to get your most preferred college.

I have given you some idea, but again its totally depends on you to choose the college according to your preference.
Hope it helps!!
Good Luck for future..

Hello. Congrats on enrolling in IIIT Kurnool

1) Please login to the official website. And determine your login by entering your roll number or application number with password.

2) From the fees menu option, in the drop down select the mode of payment.

3) You will have to pay the fees prior 2 weeks of your orientation.

4) So as soon you select the mode of payment, basically debit ,credit or cheque,  then an e-receipt will get generated.

5) If you will opt for cheque, then you must visit the college with it or DD, carry your application or confirmation of seat form as well so as to identify the student.

Hope that helps!

Hello, if you are interested in a specific branch then you can take that branch.
Otherwise I would recommend you to go with Nit Agartala ,as it is a very good college, A Nit and is highly ranked in Nirf ranking.
Placement wise it is good.
Campus is also big.
If you are getting branche like Ec then it is a good option.

And if you are interested in IT branch and ready for a 5 year course then IIIT Gwalior is also good.

So for priority basis first Nit Agartala then IIIT Gwalior and at last Nit Meghalaya.

All the best.
Hope this will help you.

Hello Student,

Both of them are good. But out of two ,NIT Manipur is a better one. CSE is a course that is very high in demand. Hence you need to analyse the university before deciding. Since they are top ranked universities in the nation and there is not exactly much of a difference in the quality of education since they will be given maximum attention and facilities. But due to the ranking of various factors I would suggest this university. Also, IIIT kurnool is relatively new and hence has not received any ranking from NIRF

And it also matters that what is your personal choice of course since they are different departments.

Here are the other factors to consider this college:

Infrastructure and college life:

NIT Manipur has a good infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.

Fa culty and quality of education:

All the faculties are qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the theoretical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.

Placements:

Placements are  good as good companies visit this college. students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from companies.

According to our website, It is a very good rated one.

Hello Student,

There are multiple companies that come to NIT Rourkela for placements including IT and Software companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro. Also, yes you can upgrade your branch at the end of first year but this is based on your gpa and this criteria has to be fulfilled and the vacancies should be available on your department of choice. On the other hand, It at IIIT sonipat is a very good course to take and it is a reputed university. I would advise you to take It at IIIt Sonipat. Here are some factors that can consider before making a choice:

Hello Student,

NITs and IIITs are some of the top most ranked institutions in the country. So it does not really matter which institution you choose since they are dependent on the ranking and which category they belong to - NIT or IIIT. Also what matters is the course you wish to take since that's what that counts when you decide on the university.

Here are the few of top Indian Institutes of Information Technology and NITs

1. Indian institute of information technology, kancheepuram

2. Indian institute of information technology, Hyderabad

3. National institute of Technology, Trichy

4. National institute of Technology, Warangal

5. Indian institute of information technology, Gwalior

6. National institute of Technology, Surat

7. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
