If we see, CSE in IIIT jabalpur has higher rank as compared to NIT patna's ECE.
Computer science and electronic and communication technology are two different courses with ECE being a little more tougher on academic part but if we by placements, academics and college ranking:

IIIT jabalpur is ranked 81 by NRIF and NIT PATNA is ranked 92
Median salary ranges from 7.1 to 7.5 lakhs for IIIT CSE whereas is it around 3.6 to 6 lakhs for ece in nit
if you check for other facilities there are approximately the same, but what matters is matters. so now the choice is yours. I recommend CSE IN IIIT JABALPUR.

The campus is undergoing construction and the other facilities like sports and labs are great at IIT Sonipat The food available in the mess is here is, very good. Proper medical facilities are available here and equipments for sports and games like tabletennis, carrom board, badminton, volleyball, football, cricket, kabbaddi are all available. Overall the IIT has wide range of facilities.

Though the IIIT Sonipat campus is not too big but it is newly constructed, all facilities are there. Features of hostels in IIIT Sonipat-

• Full building has centralized AC/Heater.
• Double sharing rooms only.
• Personal refrigerator in each Room.
• LED tv in each Room.
• Housekeeping done twice a week.

There is a lot of greenery everywhere around. The atmosphere around looks so pollution free. Mess is also well maintained, neat & tidy. One biggest advantage is that they have one big building in which separate blocks are made like for hostels a different, mess a different and classes too. So students don’t have to travel much to go to classrooms from our hostel or to mess.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing conducts the placement of IIIT Jabalpur every year. The students and companies register to participate in the placement drive conducted by the institute. In the recent IIITDM Jabalpur placement, a total of 177 offers were provided to the students. The highest salary provided to the students was 23 LPA.
