With a rank of around 19,000 in the general ews category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the nits like MNNIT or iiits as the closing ranks were around 5,000 in ews category for biotechnology under home state quota. As you have given your JEE mains this year and secured a general category rank of 137000, so still, there is a chance that you can get some nits if you belong to home state of some low nits.

If you belong from home states quota then you can get :-

• Nit sikkim
  
• Nit Meghalaya
  
• Nit manipur
  
• Nit mizoram
  
• Nit puducherry
  
• Nit arunachal pradesh
  
• Nit goa
  
• Nit agartala

But if you belong from other state then you can not get any seats in any nits with this much general category rank.
Also you can not get any iiits with this much rank, even in csab counseling you have very negligible chances.

Every year there is a cutoff closing rank set by different nits or iiits, so that students can get admission only when they clear that particular cutoff rank.

Now every year the cut off Trends changes - it increases or decreases
But the cut off of these nits or iiits doesn't depend on this lockdown or some curfews etc.

Cut off for these colleges mainly depend on the following factors :-

• The difficulty level of the examination.
• Total number of candidates that appeared in JEE Mains.
• The previous years cutoff Trends.
• Number of seats available in in NIT or IIIts.

Based on these factors the cutoff are increased or decreased, so this lock down doesn't affect the cutoff, but if the number of candidate decreases then there is chance that cutoff closing ranks will rise up a little.
