But if you want the south nits then you have a chance that you can get these nits in csab round counseling as per seeing last year cutoff closing ranks.

NIT WARANGAL (Telangana)

You can get nit warangal in csab round 1 counseling. In this nit, there is a chance that you can get CIVIL ENGINEERING and BIOTECHNOLOGY branch in csab round 1 counseling.

NIT TRICHY (Tamil nadu)

In csab round 1 counseling, there is a chance that you can get CIVIL ENGINEERING, METALLURGICAL AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING, also you can get instrumentation and control engineering branch.

NIT SURATHKAL (Karnataka)

In csab round 1 counseling, there is chance that you can get chemical engineering but chances of getting civil engineering branch is low, because last year the cutoff closing rank for civil engineering was - 24234 in csab round 1 counseling.
and for chemical engineering it was - 28152.

Apart from these three nits, if you opt for nit calicut ( Kerala ), then with this much ews rank you can get only civil engineering in csab round 1 counselling.

Sorry to say but with this rank your are not able to get any of the college under JoSSA counseling.As according to previous year cutoffs and trends the maximum rank to get in lowest college with EWS category is around 8000 -9000 but your rank rank is far from that,hence it would be impossible for you to get admission in any college.

Hello student. Btech in NIT's, IIIT's or GFTI's will pave a good path for the future. The studies over there, course curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, placements opportunities everything will build a good future.

When it comes to placements. Yes, most of the students gets placed and that too they get placed in really good companies. At the very same time, its not guearenteed. NO NIT or IIIT or GFTI guarentees that every student will get a job after his or her completion of graduation.
