Dear student,

As we've got only 66 marks from general ews category in JEE advanced than sorry you have not cleared the cutoff of JEE advanced set this year by IIT Delhi.

As per the cutoff of this year for general ews you must score at least 31.5% aggregate of the total marks of JEE advanced, that is, you must have to score 31.5 % of 396 marks from your EWS category to qualified cutoff of JEE advanced 2020.

Also note that Admission in nits or iiits are only given on basis of your jee mains ranks only.
Because jee advanced score and ranks are only applicable for iits, and jee mains score are only applicable for nits, iiits, and gftis and other institutions.

Now if you want to take admission in Nits or iiits then you can only get in your basis of your jee mains CRL rank or ews category rank.

So, check out our JEE mains college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea of the colleges that you can get on the basis of your JEE mains rank :-

Hello Aspirant,

Actually top 10 IITs are the best colleges in India but lower IITs are not so as good as compared to top IIIT's like IIIT Allahabad, IIIT hyderabad. So if you got admission in Top IIT's then don't lose it. hope it helps you.

thank you.

Hello,
With your rank in JEE Mains and also as you belong to OBC category it would be hard for you to get a seta in any government engineering colleges like NITs IIITs and GFTIs.
You might get seat in the newer NITs for non core branches like mining, mettalurgy, biomedical, etc in the last rounds of counseling. Also if you have home state quota,. Then you might get a chance.
Please go for all the rounds of JOSAA counseling and also the CSAB spot round so as to further increase your chances of getting a seat.

Please visit this link to use the JEE Mains college predictor
Hope it helps

It will be quite tough for you to get chance in IIIT Chitoor as the cutoff was 4011 in EWS category last year. You won't get any government colleges as your rank is quite low. You may opt for private engineering colleges.

Following are some best private engineering colleges.

  1. BITS Pilani
  2. VIT Vellore
  3. SRM University
  4. KIIT
  5. Thapar University
  6. Manipal Institute of Technology
  7. Lovely Professional University
  8. Chandigarh University
  9. RV College of Engineering
  10. BITS Mesra
  11. DA - IICT
  12. KJ Somaiya College of Engineering

Hello sujith,

Hope you are doing well!

If you belongs to general category then There is no chance to get nits or iiit with 76 percentile. If you belongs to sc/st category then there is also very less chance to get seat.

I hope this helpful for you.

Best wishes!!

Hii aspirant,

Coming to your question I your I would, like to say that at the above mentioned rank it seems difficult for you to get any of the IIIT college , you can go for the state counseling where you can get some of the good branches in some good colleges of the Orissa, utrakhand and chattisgarh just try for them.

Hope your doubt is cleared , if you still have any doubt you can ask it here .

Hello aspirant. As you know your rank is too low for getting admissions in nit and iiit but you can get state engineering college like Rajasthan engineering and punjab engineering and many more states engineering colleges. If you belong to economically good family then you can go for private clg like lpu and many more.
