When the announcement was made regarding criteria being removed for IITs admission, the reason was told to be the scrapping of some board examinations. So, it is most likely that the admissions to the NITs/IIITs will be based only on JEE marks and not on the board marks.

According to your percentile, i.e. 74.8 in januray JEE MAIN, it would be highly unlikely for you to receive a seat at NIT or IIIT as cutoff for most of the colleges are 95+. However, you still have 2 months to prepare for the september JEE MAIN in which
