For admission into NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, etc. candidates need to have minimum 75 percentage in their 10+2 or intermediate in science stream or should be in among top 20 Percentile, from a recognised Board or College.

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST has relaxation in the percentage of 12 th standard in most of the Institutes. 65 percentage in their 12 th standard or equivalent exam in science stream from a recognised Board is necessary.

There is no such provision in this college but the following are the provisions for a fee waiver.

1. Full tuition fee waiver for the learners for 1st year.
2. Full tuition fee waiver for half of all the learners facilitated to 2nd year.
3. Full tuition fee waiver for 33% of all the learners facilitated to 3rd year.
4. Full tuition fee waiver for 25% of all the learners facilitated to 4th year.

Payment structure

Notifying Money is INR 5k which should be paid one time and is reimbursed.

One-time fees are INR 5.5 k.

The tuition fee is INR 75k per semester.

Additional Fees are INR 5.3k per semester.

Total expenses are INR 90.8k.

IIIT Hyderabad is definitely one of the best engineering colleges situated in Andhra Pradesh. The University is widely known for the research works and brilliant placement records but I must warn you that the atmosphere of the college is research based and inventory and not entirely focused on engineering itself. Yes you are eligible for getting a scholarship under EWS category student. The scholarship includes 10000 per semester whose family income is below 2.5 lacs per annum. As your family income is below 1 lakh per annum then you are eligible for getting a EWS certificate from the respective authority of the administration. You have to apply for e w s certificate to the block development officer or the sub divisional officer with documents which will be asked by them to submit.The EWS certificate if you submit it to the IIIT authority of Tiruchirapalli ,  under this EWS category you will be eligible for getting scholarship of Rs 10000 per semester automatically.In this connection your 12th class result will be excellent with more than 75% marks.

There are very less chances of you to get the admission in the seat. But the cut off varies every year so maybe you'll get the admission because cut off depends upon various numbers of factors such as the difficulty level of exams, no of candidates, etc. But the cut off for the reserved category is comparatively low than the cut off of unreserved category.

The provision for a 100% fee waiver for SC/ST students is not there in IIITs.

Each institute maintains its scholarship policy as the Government takes decisions on the fee reimbursement policies.

For example, Ahmedabad has numerous scholarships for SC/ST students.

Gwalior, Jabalpur, Manipur, Guwahati, Trichy, Kurnool, Kancheepuram, Kalyani also provide this scholarship.

GFTI's is a  Government funded technical institutions which are completely funded by government bodies similarly IIIT's are controlled by the central government. It is better to go with IIIT's they are more reputed than GIFT's. IIIT students are recognized all over the world. You can join GFTI's through JOSAA counselling.

This institute has one of the best placements and is also students choice's as per the reviews given by the students. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sri City is an educational institute of national importance which is located in Sri City, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. Yes, IIT Sricity has it's own campus. The infrastructure here is pretty good but some of the buidlings are under construction. They have unlimited WiFi, Labs, big classrooms, Library and a big ground. They also have sports facilities here. Overall the infrastructure is amazing and the ambience here is also good.
