Sorry to inform you but you need to pay  as the registration fee. It denotes booking the seat of the college. If you dont pay now then your registration for further rounds will be considered invalid.

However for some colleges, a part of the registration fee is reimbursed. I would recommend you to get in touch with the management of authorities for a better solution

see its ok if you have 1 years gap after completing 12th, generally neither in iits or nits, iiits has gap certificates related criteria, as per you have all the eligibility criteria matched and successfully completed the counselling and admission, there should be no obstacle for admission. however for the current information check the particular institute website for latest updates.

Gap certificates are must required to produce in almost all the institutions of India including all Indian institutes of Technology and National Institute of Technology and IIITs. These gap certificates are evidence that you have taken gap from studies for some time and want to study again after a period of some years.

At this percentile it is difficult to get seat in nit or iiit through jossa counselling. The cutoff of nits and iiits go high every year. You can try out for newly built nits and iiit to get admission. Also participate in the state counselling to get admission in the government engineering colleges.

Hi aspirant, since you have got 13340 rank in JEE mains exam also you belong to ST category so based on that you can get into NIT for sure chances for IIIT is very less.

For branch perspective chances for you to get into CSE branch is somehow very less. So better option could be to go with IT if you have decided for CSE earlier.
