Hello aspirant,

I think your first should be IIIT Lucknow because it has better coding culture and placement. It ranks higher than NIT.

Then your second Choice should be NIT Jalandhar

- NIT jamshedpur

- IIIT Gwalior

Then others....

I hope you got my point

Goodluck!

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well.

The IIITs, GFTIs, NITs have female supernumerary seats exclusively reserved for only female candidates. The female supernumerary seats are extra seats added in order to increase the enrollment of female candidates without affecting the total number of gender-neutral seats.

Hope this answers your query.

Thank you!

Hello aspirant,

Both the colleges were very good in terms of academics and placements, you can choose any of them. You can choose branch according to your interest whether it's CSE or ECE. I'm describing recent placements record for both the colleges according to their respective branches, hope it will help you in taking better decision;

IIIT SRICITY - Placements are quite good here. As it is a new IIIT, it's performing far better than other IIIT's. In the recent year, placements were close to 90%. The highest salary package offered was around 44 LPA, and it was provided by Amazon Luxembourg. The average salary package is around 10 LPA for CSE, and is 8 LPA for ECE.

Hi

Your profile suggests that your home state is Telangana

Making  prediction is difficult as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

-----------) number of students/ candidates  that appeared in the  jee main exam,

-----------) number of available seats,

-----------) performance of different students in the examination,

-----------) the branch you want,

-----------) the category you belong etc.

-----------) your rank in jee main

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>>>>>>  With 4583 st rank

You have low chance in nits.

As per past year cut off trend, you need at least a rank of around 3500 st rank to get into an NIT .

You have good chances in IIITs

You have chances in following  which are listed below along with their closing rank in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 under other state/ all india quota   :-

----------)Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Kilohrad, Sonepat, Haryana:- IT :- 4795 st rank

----------)Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Una, Himachal Pradesh:-Electronics and Communication Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology):-5872 st rank

----------)Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal, ECE :-5641 ST rank

Hello Aspirant,

See as per your SC rank you have very very low chances to get any of the NITs or IIITs or even any of the GFTIs because the SC rank closes around 10-11K for colleges in JOSAA counselling and you are very far from this figure .

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Now if you appeared for JEE-Advance 2021 then you must have got your result so to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon JEE-Advance 2021 score you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-advanced-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

JEE-Advance 2021 cut-offs are mentioned below :-

>>> Common rank list (CRL) - 10.0 (Minimum percentage of marks in each subject) - 35.0 (Minimum percentage of aggregate marks)

>>> GEN-EWS rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> OBC-NCL rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> SC rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> ST rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> CRL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> GEN-EWS-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> OBC-NCL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> SC-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> ST-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> Preparatory course rank lists - 2.5 - 8.75

Now if you are not in the race of JEE-Advance then I would recommend you to either go for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck for your future!!

Hello,

Different IIT has different fee structure for OBC students. There are total 23 IITs in India and with different fee structure. According to the official information released by HRD Ministry, the 2020 fee structure will be applicable for the 2021 admission session, and there will be no hike in the course fee at IIT colleges. IIT fees per year come around 2.5 lakhs.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/iit-fee-structure

The components in NIT fee structure may vary from one institute to the other. Fees included are admission fee, Library fee, development fee etc. NITs in India also offers tuition-fee related benefits to candidates across various categories. For economically backward students claiming waiver of tuition fee, candidates have to produce Income Certificate of the family issued by the competent authority of the State Government every year afresh.

You can refer to these links for more information.

Hope this helps!!

Hi

This is a bit difficult to predict the rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 ,  4687 sc rank was the closing rank for gender neutral for sc category in IIIT  Gwalior and it was for Integrated B. Tech.(IT) and MBA (5 Years, Integrated B. Tech. and M. Tech. /MBA

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, you need at least around 4k Sc rank for IIIT Gwalior

Above prediction has been made  considering  past year cut off data but  closing rank for colleges varies every year depending upon many factors like jee main question paper difficulty, number of students writing the exam etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

Thankyou

If you have to choose between IT in IIIT Gwalior and Metallury or Biotech in IIT's then also I would recommend you to go for the IIT's because the scope you will get there regarding the placements will be comparably good that of IIIT Gwallior. As most of the placements are open to all, so you can even sit for the IT placements as well. But the most important fact I think is that, you should choose the subject you like. If you are interested in IT then go for it. You will do great. But if you are open to take any fields then go for IIT's.

To know more about IIIT Gwalior visit the link below:

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
