frankly speaking LPU is a private college. with any rank you can get admission there. admission is also taken through management quota in these colleges. the main aim of private colleges is taking money . and even your sc rank is enough to get into LPU.

Lovely Professional University takes admission through CLAT score card. LPU also has its own entrance test namely LPUNEST(Lovely Professional university National Entrance and scholarship test). After analysing your score in CLAT and the previous year trends of admission in LPU, Yes You can take admission in it.

Bpharmacy is best in LPU

It is good but you have to do hardwork.

Placements : The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 lakhs and it's a good package. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 2.5-3.5 lakhs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure is good and well-maintained. One can get every facility inside except non-veg food. Any type of drugs is not allowed inside. The classrooms are good. They usually use projectors and the concept of digital labs to teach the students. Wi-Fi access is there and the speed is good sometimes it lacks but otherwise it gives good speed. The mess has the same story. At first, you would get fabulous food and after that, the quality will go on degrading and one doesn't need to worry about the sports and other activities. A different block is there which will take care of it. Then medical facilities are also available inside. The hostels are good. You would enjoy living there.

Faculty : The faculty(overall) is good. They are always ready to help and to teach. Most of the faculty members are well educated and explain the topics but when you go as a fresher you may find some problem with the faculty because they themselves are inexperienced. The senior faculty members are always there to help the students to bring up their ideas. If you have any doubt and you ask them and suppose they don't know about it, then they will figure it out for you. Overall, the faculty is good and well-qualified. They are always ready to teach you.

The placements for CSE at Thapar are excellent. Companies like Deshaw(28 lakh), Microsoft(10+), Amadeus Labs(7+), Hikari (23 lac), Hike, and many more visit regularly. I. Not even counting non-technical companies here. Other than that, ECE department also has decent placements. People in CS batch are known to have multiple internship offers and almost every one land with a job. LPU is fairly new and I doubt any company would prefer it over a University with a strong 50+ year old legacy.
