Hello Suresh. I hope you have performed well and have given your full effort for cracking JEE Main. I wish you all the very best for your results. If you secure 95 percentile and belong to EWS category, your CRL-AIR should lie within the range of 51150 - 57500 and you EWS rank should be somewhere around 3300 (may vary from actual). With this rank, you can have good window of opportunity to get admission at Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mining Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (slight possibility), Information Technology (slight possibility ) .
All I can say is if you score 95 percentile, you have high chance to get admission at most of the departments of NITK, Surathkal. So, feel free to participate in counselling and you will surely get a seat for pursuing your desired stream.
If you want to get a detailed report based on your performance, feel free to use JEE Main 2021 College Predictor:

Hello,
Nit surathkal is always one of the top most nit in India. CSE is also a tremendously important trade nowadays so both the combination is an amazing one. If we talk about CSIS then it is an trade based on cse with the highlite of Internet security. So this one is a new approached one. Day by day this stream should be developing. As you are appearing for Mtech then obviously you should choose a specialization subject to persue the degree. In that case it is pretty good to have a new topic . So I prefer you should take CSIS. Otherwise both are good and well placed .
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
Dear aspirant,
As per my view if you are planning to take up non core branches then absolutely you should go for iiit Hyderabad rather than nit surathkal but other than non core branches go for nit surathkal.
The placements for iiit Hyderabad at non core branches is equivalentm or evenb greater than some of the IITs . The core placements at nit surathkal is very strong. The average stays between 8-9L per annum.

Good Luck!!
The college had a big name already and it lived by it. It provided a campus considering the comfort of the students incorporating all the necessary facilities like the labs for the science and libraries.
Could be better. Hostels are old. Cleanliness could be improved. People are nice. Staff is decent. They try to do their best but they struggle to accomplish the same. No hot water. Lot of bee hives and I've been bit multiple times. Food is nice.
The course is divided into six trimesters , with three trimesters in each year . The evaluation is based on two components : 50 marks for internal components comprising assignments and presentations , and 50 marks for the end of the semester exam .
