I think it is very difficult to get Nit Surathkal Computer Science for 98 percentile because the cutoffs are very high as it is a very good Nit and placements are also very good. Because of your category may be there will be some possibilities for you. But you should wait till spot round of counseling. Hope this will help you.

Here I am going to tell you the placements of B.Tech in National Institute of Technology, Surathkal.
In Year 2017, the Highest pakage went upto Rs. 730,000. In Year 2018, the highest package went upto Rs. 710,000 and In Year 2019, the highest package went upto Rs. 800,000.

(All the data mentioned in the answer is not accurate, It may differ)

as per the data and students verified reviews we can state that NIT surathkal is so good in terms of placements ,around 98 percent of the students get placed and around 95 percent students received internships , the highest package offered to students was of 50 Lakhs which was offered by Atlassium , where average range between 17 to 19 lakhs and lowest was of 10 to 12 lakhs , some of the top recruiters are microsoft, samsung, uber, Atlassium, intuit, morgan stanley and many more

It's about your personality, honesty, work inclination, dedication and many more factors which shows the HR, how much you can contribute for this job. They will also look for your co-curricular activities which you did in your 4 years of college life. It solely depends on your performance, and also how much technical knowledge you acquired in your core subjects, and what additional studies or research you did.

As you know, NIT Surathkala witnessed 100% placement in year 2019 in B. Tech and 79% in M. Tech. The highest package offered this year is 39 LPA in B. Tech. The number of the PPO's has also increased in previous years upto 25%. The average placement of the college being 14.15 LPA in B. Tech.

The placement record of NIT Surathkal for B. Tech. CSE Engineering is pretty good. Last year, the highest package offered was around INR 55 LPA and the average package offered was around INR 13.3 LPA. Lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Almost 100% of the students were placed.

PAIDIKALA YESUKRISHNA , If you want admission in CSE branch of any of the college: NIT WARANGAL, NIT CALICUT, NIT THIRUCHIRAPALLI, NIT SURATHKAL, NIT ROURKELA and IIIT HYDERABAD then you must be give the exam of JEE mains 2020 because all the mention colleges are required cutoff of JEE Mains.

And you know your expected marks then mention there because without marks it is impossible to say.
