Good Morning, I got 86% in jee mains, can I get the seat in NIT Surathkal for E&C.

At 86 percentile in jee mains your all India rank will be between 1,21,664- 1,41,664.
Last year cutoff for open seats for female candidates for ECE in NIT Surathkal were 6210 and 5809 for home state and other state candidates respectively.

Which M S c entrance exam in Nit suratakal

Hello,

For admission in NIT Surathkal in M.Sc course you must have done a Bachelors degree in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
And final admission is based on Overall Academic Performance in Bachelors degree + Written Test.

From my research, for doing MCA in NITK Surathkal the eligibility are

Minimum 60% marks in BCA/B.SC/B.E/B.Tech courses
Selection is based on NIMCET exam

Candidates has to study Mathamatics/Statistics as one of the course in Undergraduate course.Exam is conducted for 2 hours with 120 mcq's.

see cutoff score differs year to year, depends on lot of factors like, number of participant, questions difficulty level , seat matrix etc, now nit warangal, tricy and suratkhel all are the top nits and computer science is a most demanding field , so you need to secure 93+

According to last year marks vs rank scenario, your rank will be upwards of 1 lakh.

So it will be very difficult for you to grab a seat in NIT Surathkal, even under Home State quota. If you belong to a reserved quota , you may have an outside chance

College does have all the required infrastructure, good classrooms, good department buildings, good hostels along with sports complex, a supermarket, many canteens, swimming pool, gym, outdoor sports courts, amphitheatre etc.,

Nit surathkal campus is large and science with well equipped computing labs,workshops, and research centres . Classroom are modern and wi-Fi covers the campus . Hostels and common facilities support student life well.

College Infrastructure

There are enough buildings for classrooms. Wifi is available through out campus through captive portal login. Two libraries with air-conditioners are available. There are 3 grounds Two sports complexes which are too good. 12 boys hostels and 5 girls' hostel are available. Mess food is decent. We get boy veg and non-veg mess. 3 night canteens are available which serve midnights. There is a food court too. We also get a private beach. Campus has a well connection of road (NH66) which runs between the campus splitting it in two. There are guest houses available. Overall very good infrastructure.
