Last year cutoff for open seats for female candidates for ECE in NIT Surathkal were 6210 and 5809 for home state and other state candidates respectively.
Hence your chances of getting a seat is very poor.
Therefore I shall suggest you to prepare for April term jee mains.

For admission in NIT Surathkal in M.Sc course you must have done a Bachelors degree in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
And final admission is based on Overall Academic Performance in Bachelors degree + Written Test.

From my research, for doing MCA in NITK Surathkal the eligibility are

• Minimum 60% marks in BCA/B.SC/B.E/B.Tech courses
• Selection is based on NIMCET exam

Candidates has to study Mathamatics/Statistics as one of the course in Undergraduate course.Exam is conducted for 2 hours with 120 mcq's.

So it will be very difficult for you to grab a seat in NIT Surathkal, even under Home State quota. If you belong to a reserved quota , you may have an outside chance of getting a seat.
