Is there tution fee exeption in nit surathkal for obc with less than 1 lac family income students in 2019?income certificate format?

Yes they have fee remission in their colleges. And you are obc and also having less than 1 lakh family income , so they will give full fee remission of the tution fee, which is around 62500.

Talking about income certificate then see , no one can give you the exact format.As it depends from state to state lso there are some criteria of colleges allso. Soyou should probably talk to the seniors of that colleges they will give you better information.

See when you chose something you have to learn all the aspects before chosing anything. And this is about your career so you should be more cautious.

You gave option , talking about colleges all are one on one. They are great.So it comes to sunject , there you should consider yourself that which one you like it. Finall it's going to be you who have to study it. Well i wouldhave preferred civil , but mining is also not bad. It is a good course.

Which is better? Civil at nit surathkal or cse at pesit if I am flexible with branches

Hi ! If you are flexible with branches then I would prefer CSE at pesit. It is so because in nits too civil placement are not that strong, whereas computer streams is a hot stream now and lot of opportunities are there in CSE. In pesit the placement of CSE department is very good. You can also take civil in nit suratkal and later after acquiring good marks can update your branch. National Institute of Technology situated in Surathkal is one of the top institutes that provide top quality education in engineering. The opening and closing ranks released by JoSAA for admission to these institutes will be high. So I am doubtful whether you would be able to get there even if you belong to OBC and has rank of 2,873.

my jee mains rank was 78000 .I know that I don't get NIT surathkal but can I choose that

Yes can choose any option you want as per your preferences.You can even choose all the options available in the option form.This will not make any difference.But you will get the seat according to your rank and the order of preference filled by you in the option form.So fill the form carefully.Choose the institute and branch most preferred at top.Rest the procedure will be automatic ,till you not get a seat ,you will be considered in each round.

You have a fair chance to get admission in nit surathkal with home state quota in civil engineering; mettalergicul and materials engineering ; mining engineering and some chances for chemical engineering also according to previous years trends.( Considering your 20000 rank.)
Ews category is included first time ; we don't have much information about it .
But you have chance to get other branches also with this category rank. So take part in couseling and fill your choices wisely and carefully.

According to your CRL 20000 these branches you can easily get into are

College Infrastructure

There are enough buildings for classrooms. Wifi is available through out campus through captive portal login. Two libraries with air-conditioners are available. There are 3 grounds Two sports complexes which are too good. 12 boys hostels and 5 girls' hostel are available. Mess food is decent. We get boy veg and non-veg mess. 3 night canteens are available which serve midnights. There is a food court too. We also get a private beach. Campus has a well connection of road (NH66) which runs between the campus splitting it in two. There are guest houses available. Overall very good infrastructure.

NITK Surathkal boasts an excellent campus located by the beach, providing a unique and scenic learning environment. Im a First Year Student at NIT Surathkal persuing Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and the infrastructure is great other than their sports complex is not so good, all of the sports facilities are cramped in one place
