Respected Mam,

You have good chances for getting into NITs like Sringar, Arunachal Pradesh, etc. However these aren't that good as others. However, you have high chances for IIIT or GFTI.

You will definitely get a college with this rank and marks. But when you have cleared the examination then why not go for preparing jee advanced. Give jee advance then think after that for mains counselling.

Acc to your obc rank 11k it is difficult for you for you to get CS on aby of the NITs but still u can get other branches like Ec ,Mech,EE,Civ etc in Nits Mostly you can get these branches in Eastern state Nits or in NIT Srinagar. Top

As your rank is below 50k
U should get admission on CRL rank and vice versa.

Hi Spoorthi, This is the procedure for admissions in NIT, Surathkal.

The B. Tech admission is through the JEE (Mains) test, and ranks are based on 60% of the marks scored in the test, and 40% in the class 12/Second PU Board exams.

College Infrastructure

There are enough buildings for classrooms. Wifi is available through out campus through captive portal login. Two libraries with air-conditioners are available. There are 3 grounds Two sports complexes which are too good. 12 boys hostels and 5 girls' hostel are available. Mess food is decent. We get boy veg and non-veg mess. 3 night canteens are available which serve midnights. There is a food court too. We also get a private beach. Campus has a well connection of road (NH66) which runs between the campus splitting it in two. There are guest houses available. Overall very good infrastructure.

NITK Surathkal boasts an excellent campus located by the beach, providing a unique and scenic learning environment. The institute has modern classrooms, well-maintained hostels, and state-of-the-art labs for various departments. The Central Library is vast and equipped with digital resources. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, and there are several cafeterias and canteens offering good food. Sports facilities, including a gym, stadium, and courts, are impressive and regularly used by students. The greenery and cleanliness across the campus make it even more attractive and conducive to student life.

Im a First Year Student at NIT Surathkal persuing Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and the infrastructure is great other than their sports complex is not so good, all of the sports facilities are cramped in one place
