You need to qualify jee main  to get Nits.As you are general category you need sc rank under 10000 to get any of its branch.For CS you need sc rank 2000.For more details go

Yes, you can get into NIT Surathkal, if you have cleared JEE Main. But, for that, you will need a high rank, as cut off for NITK is very high.

your probable rank will be 43,210 - 47,210 and your probable category rank range will be 10473 - 12073.

As your home state is karnataka, you will be able to get civil and chemical engineering. There is a little chance to get mechanical as well.
