You have not mentioned which categor you belong to. However the closing ranks for the previous years in CSE for General category is around 40,000 for home state (punjab) quota and around 20,000 for the candidates belonging to other states.

With a rank of 60,183 in the OBC category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the Thapar university, when comparing the results of the previous years as the closing rank for HS is around 40,000 and OS is 20,000.
