ABBS B.sc college in bangalore is affiliated to Bangalore university(BU) and is privately held institution.

The institution is also approved by AII india council for technical education and is recognised by UGC.

Bangalore University is not VTU. Both are different. Most the Technical and Engineering Colleges are affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, while BU is a much older University with many Good Science, Arts, Management and Medical Colleges affiliated to it in Bangalore. Students of both Universities have a correlative culture and vibrant camaraderie.

VTU is a decent college otherwise.

VTU  is more better than autonomous because it as a great value. if you get chance in any of these college you should joined the college as it is more updated syllabus in the present scenario, other wise joining VTU good college will be a wise option .

see there is no age restriction for appearing in Gate exam, also education gap does not matter, there is no age restriction for doing m.tech or higher study. But gate exam is not easy and it difference then college exam. gate paper is based on numerical question with conceptual part. so you have to prepare for it while working. also do think is gate is the exam you wants to appear or you want to apply for others job relevant to your areas. however Gate score is beneficial for psu hiring. top psu in India hires based on gate score.

you have to again start preparing for gate exam, first start revise the basics of theory. it is advisable to take coaching or follow youtube lectures on your relevant stream.

Visvesvaraya Technology University is a autonomous college. It's a government college and it was established in 1998. It has record placement order. If you under VTU board so you know there questions are prepared by the college faculties and answer checking by the college faculties also. So questions are repeated or not you can check previous years some questions of your campus. If the questions are repeated then you can check 5 years previous questions of your college. If it's not repeat any questions then you can study only books and notes. You will be pass the examination don't worry. Just study and prepared yourself.
