The placements are not much. Yearly 40 to 70 students only got placed in the companies. Only, the minimum number of students got selected in the core companies. The placement cell requires more in-charges in the college. There is a lack of internship facility in the college.
Last choice is yours.

The total hostel fees for alagappa chettiar government çollege is Rs.11700.
- Admission fees -200
- Caution deposit -7000
- Establishment charges -2750
- Block development -1000
- Room rent -200
- Electricity charges -250
- Amenities charges -300
These are the charges which includes in tbe hostel fees.

As it is a mediocre college, so the placement opportunities are less for the core streams. So, Placement for civil engineering is very less in the college. But some other IT company came such as ZOHO, TECH mahindra, GO FRUGAL some other student from various department get placed. The companies package was 40000-50000, 20000-25000,40000 per month.

You have completed diploma in ece for applying in BE in other colleges you can carry on via lateral entry in second year of BE and you can apply via their entrance exam and further councelling proces.

College Infrastructure
This college has a very clean and green campus with classrooms, labs, and a well-maintained library. The infrastructure supports both academics and extra-curricular activities. Hostel facilities are decent with proper hygiene and security.
Peaceful campus with good teaching and support.
College Infrastructure
Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi provides good infrastructure with well-ventilated classrooms, smart boards in some departments, and fully equipped labs. The library is spacious with sufficient books and internet access. Sports facilities include both indoor and outdoor games. Hostels are clean and offer basic amenities. The mess food is hygienic and served on time. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained and support both academic and personal growth of students.

College Infrastructure
Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology (ACCET), Karaikudi, is a renowned government engineering college in Tamil Nadu.
