Yes you can definitely pass CA Foundation exam by self study. As per the paper pattern , there are only four papers in CA Foundation exam-
Paper 1 - Principles and Practice of Accounting
Paper 2 - Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting
Paper 3 - Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics
Paper 4 - Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge
All the CA Foundation study material is also provided by ICAI to help students prepare well for the exam.
If you still need any help, then ICAI also provides free of cost classes for CA Foundation students.
Hi aspirant,
I will suggest you to keep preparing and hustling for the COMEDK examination. No doubt Vellore institute of technology is a good college, but you would not be getting that sort of returns when you are placed in third category and will have to pay around 4lacs per annum. The level of COMEDK is easy to moderate and if you have your basics covered, it is not that difficult to make into the top colleges. Python is not a very difficult language to learn and will hardly take 3-4 months in your first semester, moreover it will be taught to you from the foundation when the classes start at VIT.
PS- If money is not a big issue, start preparing for your first semester as most of the top college under COMEDK have a similar fee ranging between 3-3.5lacs.
Hope it helps!!
hello Aspirant
I hope you are doing good
With refernce to your query , I would glad to tell you that VIT vellore is very well-known reputed college and known for its alumi network and BTech placements. I can strongly advise you that you wont regret for VIT after completing 4 years. If you have filled comedk exam then surely give the exam but if you are getting top colleges which comes under comedk then only think to withdraw from VIT otherwise continue with VIT and study hard
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

Incase you dont get CSE at Any Campus of BITS Pilani, you may perhaps take up M.Sc. in Economics or Mathematics in First Year. In Second Year, you have good chances of securing CSE, provided youre focussed and dedicated throughout your First Year. Other option maybe, pursuing ECE/Electrical at some Campus at BITS Pilani, which is equally good and has good Placements, you can always specialize and develop your interests in Software Development, ML or Data Engineering.
Hi Aspirant,
There are a lot of amazing colleges under ComedK. Top 5 colleges under ComedK are:
1) RV College of Engineering
2) PES Institute of Technology
3) BMS college of Engineering
4)M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology
5) Bangalore Institute of Technology
Other than the above mentioned there are various other amazing colleges for CS/IT branches. The fees varies from college to college between 2-8lakhs. But the placement opportunities provided in these top colleges are great considering the ROI through placements in companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro,Amazon, etc .
Now coming to VIT Vellore, it is a brand in itself. The tuition fee here is 2 lakh(approx) per annum. And the placement here is great too as Microsoft, DE Shaw and PayPal are among their top recruiters.

Hi there,
As you've said that you are not able to solve the questions you've made a few weeks ago. I think the major problem is the understanding of the concepts and the presence of mind during the solving of questions. I know sometimes this problem happens to many. But it is just you who needs to rescue yourself out from these problems to get good marks.
So, I am telling you a solution as you know that in JEE Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the main subjects. So, you need to revise the concept thoroughly without any tension, free your kind before studying okay. Firstly you need to cover the main topics and solve maximum questions. After that, you need to revise the concept and the type of questions for about 1-2 hours daily you've made. Then go for the next topics and chapters.
If you are still lagging then revise the concepts and questions early morning and make short notes. Stick some points which you forget on the wall. And revise daily.
Be consistent and do not lose hope. Hustle harder than before... The competition is very high.
All the very best!!
