Hello Aspirant

It's really good to know that you are looking for MBA domain.

It's one of the best domain available in Indian corporate sector.

If I look at your profile then it's really good, as you are a qualified CA and having 3 years of experience too, it'll add a lot of value to your profile in interviews for top B-Schools.

But for getting calls for interview from top B-Schools like IIM A,B,C or FMS or any other top 10 colleges, you need atleast 99 percentile in CAT.

As you are From non engeneering background, it'll help you in getting calls from top B-Schools, try to score above 99 percentile and it'll assure you a IIM call.

If I talk about prepration then yes, if you are confident and serious enough for cat then you can left your job and prepare for CAT but remember one thing persons having experience more than 3 years are having negative impact while getting calls so try to clear cat this time itself.

Hope this information is helpful for you.

All the best

Hi Shashwat,

You have good CAT percentile and you can get into top IIMS with 97 in CAT. Also your academics are decent so you have high chances of converting top IIMs if you perform well in WAT/PI round. however, since you have not mentioned your category I cannot help you with exact IIms which you'll be able to convert. But you can expect calls from following IIMs:

  • Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML)
  • Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI)
  • Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK)
  • Indian Institute of Management Ranchi (IIM Ranchi)
  • Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIM Shillong)

Good Luck

Hello aspirant!!!

You have chances of getting into mit but not anna university since you have some what lower cutoff for you to get into that college though if you got mit you might mot able to get the course which you prefer. Since the cuttoff for the state board students is much higher and previous year students who are waiting for neet exam also might apply for those colleges.

For more details about annauniversity cutoff refer to the following link below ....

All the best!!

Stay safe!!

Manufacturing And production is  perrenial  demand for consumers. With the increase in population the demand for produced goods increase with due course of time . And with this situation if you want to set an industry of your own ,you need to identify that which product is in more demand and will continue to be in demand.

Hence I Suggest you to to  Do Production Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering  or Mechanical engineering. Production Engineering - Keep this as a top priority bacause every industry has production.

Thank you & All the best
