Hello Aspirant,

Making notes of every subject is a good strategy and it definitely comes in handy in every examination. These notes are perfect for revision. For cracking such examinations, a candidate needs to study a chapter more than twice. And these short notes are the best for them. And at the end when the examination dates are closing, through these notes you'll have revision materials.

All the best~

Anshu, Software Engineer is a designation. You might be doing the same kind of job but with a different designation. Different companies have different designations for their Employees. In some Companies, Systems Analyst is the sesignation given for the role of a Software Engineer. Having said that, you should start your career from 12th by taking Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your core subjects. You should appear for Engineering entrance examinations like JEE, VITEEE and other Entrance examinayions depending on the Institution you want to join. Now there are 2 ways to it in B.Tech. You either take CSE as a branch and complete your course or take any other branch and pursue some Software courses that are in demand in the market. Post the completion of the course you can get placed both through On Campus and Off Campus placements.

Vijay, the beauty of studying to become an IAS officer is that you have to appear for UPSC exam. For being eligible for UPSC, you can hold a Bachelor's degree in any stream or discipline. So your friend can appear for UPSC exam even after studying BS. If he can clear the prelims, based on his CSE subjects, he can choose his optional subjects accordingly. So even if your friend studies BE, he still can appear for UPSC. He needs to prepare well for Prelims and there are no 2 ways about it. He should know the syllabus and prepare accordingly.
