Hello Siddharth,
GLC and ILS both being the best two colleges under the said exam, a rank within 250 should be aimed at under your category. The marks vs rank trend depends on the paper. That being said, a score of 120 would in any case be ideal to get into these both colleges.
Best of luck.
Hi Manmeet
Based on the previous year cut off marks, you have fewer chances in government dental colleges and higher chances in private dental colleges. Based on the facilities provided by colleges and staffs select your college. For more details visit https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor
All the best.
Hi Udbhav!!! Congratulations on your score and I would like to inform you that you may expect a rank between 16,981-18,481 according to our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-advanced-rank-predictor so please don't sit for IIT's. You can get nothing there except some integrated courses so I would suggest you better aim for AAT .
Hope it helps.Thank you
Hello.
This minimum percentile game is tricky. There are things that you need to keep in mind:
1) which IIM are you looking at? - For IIM Ahmedabad your academic qualifications are not very important. A 65+ in each of X, XII and graduation (if grads>70m, then X or XII could be between 60 and 65 as well) will ensure that you clear the minimum academic rating score. Thus, all that matters is that you clear the cut-off (99.65+). Others like IIM B need you to have a decent academic background
2) Your academic background - Say you are one of those who has scored 90+ in X and XII and 80+ in graduation, then even a 96-97 percentile might fetch you a call from IIM B, K, I and the likes.
If your acads are okayish, then aim for a 98.5+ and you stand a chance to get a call from at least one of the IIMs.
Hope this is helpful.
Good luck.
Dear PD,
If you can wait and feel that you can perform better than your last attempt in CAT then I would suggest you should start working so that you can show some work experience. Interviewers don't like students who take gap year just to prepare for CAT entrance exam since CAT is an aptitude test, not an exam which requires the learning of facts and figures, unlike JEE or NEET and then you should write CAT exam in the coming November. No offence to these colleges but you will spend around 12-15 lakh and you won't get the placement of more than 6 lakh per annum from this college provided if you are in top 10% of your batch. A graduate who studied from a mediocre college earns between 3-4 lakh per annum so do you feel that a jump from 4 lakh to 6 lakh per annum with so much of investment is worth it? If you feel that you can work harder than before and can score percentile of at least 88 then only take a drop. If you don't feel that you can get a percentile around 90 in CAT then don't take a drop because even if you start with a low package, if you work hard then you can get better.
For further queries, you can write in the comment section given below.
Hi Anjali,
First, you should build a lot of self-control and self-discipline to be able to study 12 hours every day.
Then, you should go through the complete syllabus of JEE from their official site and see how many questions are appearing from each topic.
Then, make a schedule or a time table and follow it regularly.
Find your strong topics and keep strengthening them by regular online mock tests and by solving previous year papers.
Don't dig deep in your weak topics.
Start with Physics, then Maths and at last Chemistry.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
