What is the present scenario of BIT Sindri....?I have heard ragging is there in the campus...?

It's expected to retain it's glory......however from 2-3 years placement has been reduced very much that only 60-70% students are getting placed......but in the upcoming years i believe that placement will be good again........Also there is ragging is there in campus but not so much....it has been reduced very much

Mechanical branch gets closed just before my rank at bit sindri in 1st counselling 2017.will i get it in 2nd counselling ?

You have less chances....because mechanical branch is best in bit sindri and i don't think many students would leave

Yes definitely u will get production or chemical engineering in 2nd round....many students will not take admission and hence you will get

This college has a decent infrastructure that fulfills most of the academic requirements of students . Wi-Fi connectivity is available across major areas of the campus which allows student to access online learning materials .

College Infrastructure

The college does have all the necessary infrastructure. The new hostels and lecture halls are modern and well equipped. It also has a central library with a vast collection of books. The living spaces are clean and hygienic.
