College infrastructure is overall good but it is quite old it is established on 1949 Some new building are newly renovated and it contains all equipments but they are old which are not working properly and wifi available only in adminstration building no wifi in classrooms and hostels

I studying mechanical engineering there which is oldest branch of this college some professor are teaching good but some are not . And in there oldish type of curriculum is used but if you study there there is a high chance you got job there so don't think too much take admission there if you have a chance

Placement is quite good in college almost all students placed For core branches so many companies comes like tata steel vedanta adani aditya birla jsw they recruited mechanical electrical civil mining metal but in cse it branches most mass recruiters companies come like tcs cognizant but Samsung also recruit eith 16 lpa package which is quite good and students also crack off campus like Amazon google etc

I pay approx 75k per year including mess fee hostel and tution fee i think which is quite low the return of investment of this college is very good

Our campus is in outskirts of dhanbad which is sindri villagish type area so we don't enjoy too much and don't got too much exposure

Infrastructure of BIT Sindri is good.It has a central library which has abundance of good books for all subjects of engineering. All the labs are also very well equipped with equipments.It also has a canteen and sbi bank.

College infrastructure is okayish. It have all the necessary things in libraries, laboratories which are needed for a person to be an engineer. Not much as good as of IITs or NITs. But, the infrastructure is in good progress. So, you can expect a good infrastructure in near future. Wi-fi is not available in hostels. But, adminstration is planning to install wifi in all Hostels in near future. The space here is very clean and well maintained.

Academics is very good. Teacher's are very supportive and have a decent ample amount of knowledge. The teachers who are are teaching here are highly skilled and have studied from Mtech/PhD from IITs/NITs. So, you can expect a good reservoir of knowledge here.

Placement scenario here is very good. I don't say that placements here have very high packages as of IITs/NITs. But, it's placements is far better than many NITs like of North east and some other NITs like NIT puducherry, NIT uttrakhand, NIT Andra Pradesh, NIT Agartala, NIT meghalaya, NIT nagaland, NIT manipur,NIT Sikkim and many IIITs like IIIT raichur, IIIT manipur etc. there is around 90% placements scenario here.

Btech fees here is very cheap around 2-2.5 L in 4 years btech course . And it has decent placement of average around 7 LPA, which is far . So, if you are expending money here then you could get a decent placement. And hence, I think it is value for money.

College life is quite good in BIT sindri but there are many restrictions for 1st year students to enhance their discipline and personality and professionalism in 1st year students. So they would able to face any challenge in life they will able to do it and solve the problem.

Overall I think it is very good college if you want to get decent placement without investing much money. Adminstration and teachers here are very supportive. I think the only thing in which it lags is it's infrastructure. If it works on building infrastructure then it could be the best institute of India. Also, one thing is that it should open admissions for students of outside jharkhand. If institute works on these things then it could become much good and can compete with top NI
